Looking now to the business end of the season, cant really see anyone knocking Belle Vue off top spot. Important who finishes 2nd,because they can have a choice if they prefer to ride their first leg home or away. Wolves still have 6 home matches to come(1 away at K/L),if assuming they win all their matches at Monmore, that would give them 57 points. Poole on the other hand can only get to 49 points if they win all their remaining home meetings. So realistically they need to score a futher 9 points on their travels,to overhaul Wolverhampton. Think the Aces would probably pick Lakeside/Swindon or whoever finishes in the final play-off spot. So that leaves Wolves to battle it out with Poole in the semi, for a place in the final. Home advantage is gonna play a huge part, because when both of these sides have met on their home track, the visiting team have lost by a pretty big margin. Still lots of ifs and buts to come of course, but its looking like an intriguing finale to the end of the season. Ps.Think ive got my maths right, but then again...............

Is Kylmakorpi and Garrity fit to ride. Its long overdue when we can see a side at full strength, without resorting to R/R. The Bees could get a point, they like nothing more than to put one over us or Poole on their home track. Edit.Ouch........... Just seen the weather forcast..

18th July 2016 - Wolves V Swindon

And the guilty parties are The debate about wether it should be Clegg or Morris has been going on virtually all season amongst Wolves fans. There have been various reasons why supporters think it should be one or the other. Adams decided Clegg would be the first name on the team sheet when he started the make up of the side, but others argued it should have been Morris because he was a club asset. Think one of the mistakes Adams made, was not making Clegg an asset, preferring to sign Matt Williamson instead. Think both Max Clegg and Ashley Morris will turn out to be very good riders, both are at about the same level at the moment, but Max is three years younger,so possibly that's an advantage. The thing with Ash,he seems to adapt better with different sized tracks. But im sorry to say Monarch fans if Max is still with Wolves next season, then he really needs to look for a larger track to gain more experience to move forward. Of course this all depends on the make up of the leagues next year, and wether Cradley would want to lose one of their assets. But it is highly unlikely that Clegg would have another season in the National League,or wether indeed which of the Elite sides would like to take him on full time. -

BWitcher the Dennis Skinner of the BSF. -
Should be fairly comfortable home win. Lindgren,Masters,Thorssell and Karlsson easily covering Kylmakorpi,s rides, probably the Lions two reserves keeping the score under the 60 point total for Wolves. Showers forcast for around 9 o,clock, but shouldn't cause much of a problem. Edit. A year to late, for this post.

Its not going to be a problem using R/R for home meetings, where we have all of our riders to choose from. Away, think we should go with guests.Scott Nicholls already booked for Leicester on Saturday, can we use a D/U rider(Danny King)at Belle Vue next Wednesday ?.

Cant be to critical of Max,still only 19,and plenty left in the tank from where that heat 5 ride came from. -
Bell Vue V Wolves Friday 17th June

Nobody is going to beat them over two legs. If the Aces finish top,and having already won in Dorset, lets hope they pick the Pirates in the semi,s. Think Wolves will still make the play-offs,but the other spot likely to be between Lakeside and Swindon. -

Think Kyle Howarth has been a bigger disappointment for me than Mikkel Bech.In all honesty he should be wiping the floor with most of these reserves, but you could see the writing was on the wall for this meeting with how he performed in Manchester on Monday night. The bloke just doesn,t seem interested when it comes to riding the big fast tracks like Belle Vue and Kings Lynn.Whould like to know what his average would be on the bigger tracks away from Monmore and Lakeside. Probably no better than Morris and Clegg tbh. -
Don't think hes going anywhere in the UK soon. Apparently personal problems back home in Denmark the reason for his departure.

PK is back.

BW. Tbh think we all expected more from Bech this season than what we have got. Perhaps that 15 point(?)score at Monmore last season, was to high in our thoughts, and unrealistic about his true value.
-
We went to the same school,so perhaps some of his crazy decisions have rubbed off on me.

You would have thought with the track knowledge the riders have leanrt riding Monmore, they would have adapted more easily to finding lines at Lakeside. But that certainly wasn't the case in most of the rides from Masters,Howarth,Thorssell and Bech.Seemed all at sea most of the time. There is an excuse for Masters if he had never been there before, but you cant excuse Bech, who should know the place like the back of his hand having done hundreds of laps at Purfleet. Impressed with young Max,s effort, think he deserved an extra ride in place of Bech,s 4th outing.Seems to have gained more confidence in the last few weeks. Wasn't expecting much from last night, but probably be a little bit closer tonight at Lynn, even though both sides are under strength.
