  1. Load the Chromecast app from Google Chrome onto your phone, laptop,PC and get a Chromecast dongle from Argos or eBay for about £25.Then fit it into a HDMI socket on the TV,and watch the likes of YouTube on the big screen.
  2. You can get all the sports channels for nowt with Sportsdevil(if your not to fussed with the quality)and you dont need a VPN. I cancelled Sky Sports package last week, but if you are with them for Talk/Broadband,its gonna cost you £22.99 p/m to watch BT Sport on your Sky box. Ive decided to wait for Infinity to reach my area, then ill swap my Sky Broadband over to BT for a better deal.
  3. Think the pricise figure is £10.07 million.Could be wrong though.
  4. When i cancelled my Sky Sports subscription last week, and told the adviser the reason why,his reply was "The pot,s probably empty mate". Probably meaning the £10 million per Premier league match that they have to pay,has over stretched their budget.
  5. So according to todays Daily Mail,Sky have ditched top flight British speedway.
  6. They rather spend their money to make Matt Williamson and Ash Morris Wolves assets. If there,s any left over in the kitty, about making Stevebrum our number 8,that should suit our budget.
  7. Let them all, who made Wolves or Leicester to fight it out for the wooden spoon last year have their bit of fun,and to see if their predictions again ,come to bite them on the bum.
  8. Whats the box called from Amazon ?. Ive been with Sky since it was launched (1992 ?),and dread to think how much ive put into their pockets, must be in the thousands now. Ive got chromecast so that i can watch the Gp,s,next day from You Tube on the TV,but a bit reluctant to take out anymore more subscriptions from BT. Sky never seem to look after their valued customers,so im now thinking of alternatives. But i do want to watch the transmissons on the TV and not on the computer. Thanks.
  9. Dont forget the free Bonk at the back of the pits.(although never stood there myself).
  10. Biting my tongue............ Great race track though. But not very happy memories of having to spend a couple of hours in Old Hill nick, after a bit of a coming together with a spoon fan.
  11. Agree.Up till four months ago his posts were reasonably sensible. Only since Dr Frankenstein got a few of his cells muddled up and the brain transplant went horribly wrong, that Col,s attitude has changed. I blame Nicolai Klindt ,Everything was quite normal till he appeared on the scene.
  12. This KK v Fred debate has been going on for about six months now,in fact it was probably started before last season,s first meeting between Cov and Wolves. The way its going, this saga will run longer than Downton Abbey.(Perhaps not,,that only dragged on for five years).
  13. He just loves rubbing their nose in it.Patronising is Shovlar,s forte, unfortunately some of the others follow him like love struck lemmings.
  14. Obviously CVS thinks differently,on the 19th Dec he stated "With the race format changes I think the reserves races are slightly less critical this season, and Max(Clegg)has shown he has the potential to become the leading reserve this year".Think that's a bit optimistic to expect Max to attain that sort of improvement, but perhaps goes some way to explaining why he didn't pursue Klindt more vigorously.
  15. Nice to know at least one other Wolves fan seems to think so.
  16. Howarth has been written off(mainly Poole fans)by most posters on here, but you have to remember when he was riding on better equipment,he was averaging 8 in final six meetings and looked to have got over his mid season slump. Not saying he's the finished article, but Wolves supporters are happy with what we've got,and at the end of the day that's all that really matters.
  17. He,s got Sudden Sam in his one ear,Fred and Sqora in the other, all hes got to do now is stay on his bike.
  18. Everything revolved around Klindt for Col, with him going to Poole all his team permatations collapsed quicker than the Greek economy
  19. One also has to remember the contribution Kyle Howarth made in the final few meetings where he had a couple of 12 point scores including top scoring in the home leg final. Has well as helping out PK,didnt Woffinden also sell an engine to Kyle for use in the last few matches. So really,Woffy probably had as much impact off the track, than his scores on it. Think to many people, are writing off Howarth at their own peril for next season.
  20. Yep,he had us for fighting for the wooden spoon with Leicester. The same all boring BS from Shovlar every season.
  21. Think Rory probably comes into the thoughts of CVS/Adams as can be seen by the amount of guest bookings he has received in the past for Wolves.Think its only him having a fairly high average in years gone by(and of course his injuries)that has prevented him already being at Monmore at some stage of his career. It would be a cause for concern with the doubling up,as we already have three riders doing the same thing. Also,,Rory knows better than anyone else wether his body can take the strain of riding in both leagues,or him cutting down on his workload.
  22. If, as most fans think its a toss up between Scornicki and Musielak for the final place in the top five,it hardly gives us much choice for the final place to partner Max Clegg at reserve. Don't know much about either, and never seen them race. But Ollie or Dan Greenwood would fit, especially now that the latter has signed for the Heathens, and would probably soon get used to the Monmore track. Would have preferred Matt Williamson, but that takes us slightly over the 50 points limit.
  23. Looking forward to his posts(or lack of)if Klindt,s scores go t!ts up down in Dorset.
  24. Wonder if we are waiting to see if Belle Vue are going to use Bewley ?.
