  4. Precipitation 90% between 09.00 and 18.00, thats when the damage could occur, really hope It doesn't and also hope for a move in the weather pattern
  5. If it's off Barrels Ale House or the Curfew, highly reccomended watering holes, both in Bridge St. It is different BL**dy worse.
  6. Yes, but you were selective in what you wrote, ' sunshine at 1900', the rest was reliant on going to the link. If you are going to do Screms job, do it properly.
  7. Be more precise:- Met Office Sat 25/04/15:_ 00.00 to 06.00 Rain overnight 06.00 to 07.00 cloudy 08.00 to 17.00 heavy rain 18.00 to 20.00 sunshine
  8. Don't think anyone does think that, but the club should make sure when they sign any rider, that his bikes are competetive, and they can fulfil their role.
  9. I follow your jist, surely it is up to the management of the club, a) to make sure each rider they employ has equipment fit enough to fulfil it's role , when they relaease them to ride for another club it is not at detrement to the parent club, Bang on, it is a catch 22, and at the end of the day they are self employed. How dom I get rid of that logo it wont edit it should be 'b)'
  10. If ! , all the equipment is back up and running, think we will have a home win but a close meetings. If Stead & Bellego had been riding we may well have lost this one. Perhaps the VIP club could chip in to help the riders in difficulties, the same way that the Supporters Club are doing, instead of taking their members on a 'Jolly' to the races.
  11. Pity, could have been some good racing, David trying to prove a point. Makes it easier for Berwick on Sat, depending on who they have as guest for No1
  12. Just what i was told on Saturday, I had no reason to disbelieve the rider concerned. My appologies for taking it at face value without checking. As said the main point was that Allen had a good engine for sale, which seems to have sailed way over some posters heads. We have a No1 rider, but with all due respect unless there is a massive improvement on the reserve standard equipment, not going to see No1 scores. Absolutely no doubt Ben is a talented rider, but doesn't matter how much he knocks his pan out, if the bikes arn't up to the job then he will seriously struggle.
  13. All riders are or have placed a request to the Supporters Club, damn good job they are there to help the riders, as it does not seem to be available to assist them elsewhere. As you say Doolan & Vissing's engines blew, also Edbergs, Ben s problems were clutches, all expensive The die hards would have recorded the GP and attended. You would still excpect a crowd of 600 plus from local fans, that was visibly not there. Don't know what Hynek comes in on, but is below a 5 average prob about 4.6 Ben lost his E.L sponsor I believe Yes Ollie Allen is calling it a day, and is No 1 engine is for sale at £2k (bargain). I believe Ben asked for help to get it but is request was declined, told him to put a request into the Supporters Club to see if they could assist towards the total. As I said, a good job the Supporters Club is there raising cash to help the riders, as it looks there is no other avenue for hel[p when needed, other than direct sponsorship.
  14. Right Scott, the track was much improved, it does prove they can do it, they now need to continue in the same way. Taffy Report: Track much better, room for improvement. Crowd was very poor, even though it was Scunny 300 plus if you take out the under 16s who go frree. Taffy report:- Should be worried. The team all batted well under the circumstances, 3 blown engines, Alex had a brand new engine 7 heats and bang another bill for Freddrik. Barker alone £1k worth of clutch components.. Taffy report:- Tried hard, with Hynek in next week will strengthen the team, should improve on his starting average. Barker is going to need help with his equipment, good rider on poor equipment, anyone got £2k to spare good engine from Ollie Allen going for grabs. Contact Ben if you have. Overall a big sigh of relief.
  15. Think you will find Sticky is a big improvement on Matic,
  16. Would it not be nice, if, the refs report said. The track was prepared to a compliant standard. But the visiting team did not like it. I wonder if thats what it says at Edinburgh or Newcastle.
  17. Your points do not seem to bother other clubs, or the riders that ride for them, so why should it be different at Berwick. Time for the return of the fear factor. and bring back the excitement. Remember we have probably had a lot more accidents since PW departed than before.. and tjhe track supposed to be safer.
  18. Am very happy with the signing, good rider though, not because he is Czech.
