In the 2012 / 2013 Ice Hockey season Sky produced a 1 hour magazine programme on the EIHL. They would show highlights from previous weeks games only if the home club provided them with the footage and let Sky do the voice over. Would this not be more sensible for speedway clubs. I beleive many, if not most clubs now produce their own DVDs. This should also have the benefit of stimulating the appeal of the sport rather than overkill with a full match which can be hit and miss at times.

My head says you are right but my heart says I hope you are wrong. I hope it is not the rule that if the second leg doesn't take place we are by default winners, I can't think of anything that would make the "sport" of speedway look more ridiculous, Somerset finished top so if anything it should go to them, I personally don't want a tainted title. Here's hoping it does go ahead and the mighty monarchs can pull off a miracle, then it would be deserved.

I personally dont agree with using a guest from a team in the same play off group, but there are no rules to stop it so we just need to get on with it. I think based on our recent travels that we may struggle to get the required points unless all our riders gel at the same time, if that happens then we could be in with a shout of getting the points we need. (heres hoping)
