I thought Dave wants a complete English set-up; that's the impression I got from reading the local press. If so, then no room for any Aussies etc. Have I got the wrong end of the stick?.
Your spot on. The thought of all that nonsense from last year will probably keep me away for more meetings than any composition of the team. I was not alone last year in leaving the stadium early due to frustration in the time wasted in presentation of the meetings. C- " Must do better"
Sounds an excellent meeting but.......To call the PRIDE OF THE POTTERIES a warm up event....how very dare you!!!. Watch that Porsing go. Excellent at our place. Hope all have a good night.
No one was more surprised than me that Lee had a poor night. An excellent racer that rides Stoke very well. It was Porsing that really caught everyones eye. He is after a place in the uk next year and will not be short of offers I'm sure. He say's he is going to ride at Wolverhampton and also Scotland. Will light up the premier next year whoever he rides for. Are Stoke in the hunt; I hope so.
Pity he was never really given a go for Stoke and with all the problems we have had over the years I'm surprised he never was, although I suspect that he didn't get on with the promoter; only guessing there. Always enjoyed watching Tom ride and wish him all the best in the future where ever that takes him.
Not offended at all Kelly. I hope you keep you interest up and with the knowledge and support of your Granddad you can't go wrong. He has done a wonderful job for Stoke. Keep it up
With Jason now out for the season....or so the local media have stated; how does that affect the type of rider Stoke are looking for?. There is not the 9 point men out there to pick up, interesting to see what Stoke will do.
We all seem to be discounting the possibility that Lubos could turn into the rider that his not too recent past performances suggest that he could be. A 9 point plus rider. Rider do improve or in his case regain form. Not sure I would want to lose anybody from the team now anyway; I know Jason will be out for a while but I was thinking of others. Hynek is showing now. Ricky is growing and so are the others. The lad is short of confidence but he can ride a bike that has been proven. He will get a four/five point average after his 12 meetings; doesn't mean he has to go out and ride like one!!!. Raj came and showed on Sat the sort of rider that we all know he can be; why can't Lubos?. I for one would not want to see either Hynek or Ricky to go.
I normally agree with what you say and I do so again today. Question is could the meeting be run with all 14 teams? Seems to me that you may have more supporters there to watch with 14 teams supporters instead of 10. I enjoy this type of comp but loses a little when my team isn't in. Straight to Cardiff for me....if Stoke had been in....then a few hours on the beach.
