i dont know how on earth the people that do the fixtures can sleep at night . after all , they are putting theme selves OUT of a job . its not the fans that need to turn up . its the bspa/scb with their mind boggling decisions and rule changes every year . just looking @ the m,bra v ippo fixture . i see mason is guesting for sheff @ 1 . funny how godders/chapman put a stop to friday fixtures and sheff go with mason for fridays meeting .

Workington 2nd string guesting @ 1 for the tigers . Sheffirlds season getting even more weird every week . mr bates has lost the plot . all i can say is , have a good one Mason. see you Saturday .

i have never heard about any disputes , apart from the one a few moths ago and a wee talk took place . . the negatives about speedway , we could go on forever . the positives are a little well hidden and people dont want to talk about them .. its prob the best team we have had in the history of the comets . ( without even knowing it ) support your local league champions - elect . live for today , because tomorrow you or i could be g o n e .

so , with all the off season caic already done and dusted due to the no meetings thingy DURING the season . what will we find to walk about ? dont worry tho . i have saved some stuff back to talk about in the close season .( WAS IT EVER OPEN ).

sorry to say this ,but it looks like an AWAY win for the diamonds . bedding in one newbie , jase crash , bang wallop . the rest are not good and with newc something to prove . a 4th defeat is on the cards . so , deemonds win , tight tho .

CREDIBILITY , thats what they will lose, amongst all the riders . i know its not much. lets hope for sheff fans they can assemble a decent side like they did this year and on the last weekend , sack a few .enjoy that spoon , no bucks fizz , but plenty of soup and something to stir it with .

i think most people @ workington have a wee bit of knowledge as to why no management were available for the AGM . its just a few outsiders putting their spin on it and causing upsets . about the AGM. tony jackson deserves a huge amount of credit for the day to day running of a speedway club . a fan of many , many years . a truly nice and approachable guy . if speedway had a tony jackson in every club , none of the r u bb i s h that goes on in speedway would be happening . tony is up there with the legends of workington riders and promoters .

well done , well explained . so worky travel to wewc today with only 1 N.L. guest ( as of yesterday ) i dont know if they have found a rider to ride in the number 1 spot ..so it looks like Sundays rider availability could be questioned as well . not good when you cant even get a N.L. giuest . what are you going to do about Godders and Chappy ? 5 paragraphs =£50 . please forward to workington speedway ... cheers Arthur

you are not answering the question . the q was WHY were workingtoon allowed to run friday night fixtures at the start of the season and can an OUTSIDER state the reason why we were allowed to run on fridays ? answers on a £10 note and send it to workijgton speedway ..
