so , its got nothing to do with the local football team coming over to Derwent park and the football league making them make alterations to the width of the pitch ( as it does not meet the required min width) and by doing so encroach about 1/3 of the speedway track on the home and back straight . the reds would have to move from their ground so the place can be flattened and the new, all singing, all dancing stadium could be built . that would leave the speedway team with a totally un acceptable track in which to race on . therefore making the speedway team having to pull out of the league and be fined bucket loads of cash , i do believe . i got this info from a mate in the pub . hic tic .. .

Nah , not really . only the 2/3 pointrs will improve as they are continually up against their fellow 2/3 pointers . top men will NOT improve as they are racing the same guys as last year , but were still beating regular 6 and 7 chaps .

these riders who improve in the championship will be the exact same riders that improve in the premiership . no need for two threads . but thats the way it goes .

oh so sad to hear that workington will not be coming to the tapes in 19 . from 1970 onwards i attended the sport @ workington and it has given myself and others on many Friday and Saturday nights extreme pleasure . god luck to all concerned in the future . it will be a miss not just to workington supporters , but to the speedway world in general .

the chances of any houses etc being built on any contaminated/mining areas are quite high now compared to decades ago . land can be developed for building at almost every part of the uk . its only the so called green belt areas that have their rights to no new builds being put up on the areas . even so , green belt land is being built on all the time now due to housing shortage so really any piece of land is not safe from developers . even those with mine shafts and underwater natural drainage . so who knows , in a few years time ashfield could be a new housing complex or even a supermarket . thats a coupe of iudeas for the faccues to get their money back from previous losses ! what i dont need now is a sad and confused reply from the dangerous brothers . i just replied to snappers post .

i am not normally one to cause a stir ! ! ! , but we dont want to cause any more grief on the situation @ workington . we can speculate all we like. the bottom line is we must continue to support the club to the end . 2019 is a goer . so please stop killing your own team and management off. also if i heard something , i sure as hell would know where i hears it and not just made up fake news . i know one sponsor that agreed to help out as best he could , but guess what . the management failed . to pick up the payment at his place of work .i think it was sorted eventually . but thats not the problem . there is no known cure for self destruction i. i got told by a person in the know that Rasmus was on his way to Edinburgh and this guy was adamant that he was because his informer had seen it on paper . so lets all sit back and let the proper risk takers try and sort it . we dont want to keep feeding the sad and confused lot up the road . they will have their own troubles when they lose another k100.000 in 2019 and then wonder why they have n.l. racing . everyone needs to quit moaning and look forward to April and that other thing called BREXIT . live long and prosper
