could this be the first r/r and/or guest this season ?

when he rode for workington he was fantastic . prob one of his best seasons . but time waits for no one .

cant advise you on the direction , but come up the night before and place a towel a parking space of your choice !

looks like the 3pm start time will rule 3 of us out for bens doo . but , like the weather it could change .

and the riders were part time and did not screw everyone around . ( apart when they blew an engine or crashed ) but the good fans chipped in and restored the balance .

aye, kevin doolan had it sussed last season. backed by someone called K.D ! hit you right in the peepers. those aussies have got it sussed , eh !

but the team race suits take the eye and not the riders sponsors . riders sponsors on a race suit take time to look for on a jazzed up suit . sponsors logos can be as big as they want to be on their own suits because there are no restriction as to how big they can be , where as they are limited to size with team suits . as HGould says , they have had their day and the built in body colour is the best option . plus they can keep the race suits when the season finishes . it belongs to them and not the club .

i agree they look good . but the sport is run by unprofessional people and riders are demanding pro rates from promotors who cant supply the cash needed to pay these guys . the great northern club was jam packed , but still found it hard to pay certain bills . when you were a kid playing footie in the park/street . you always knew who your team mates were regardless of the colour of your strip . hence the helmet colours ! could that sponsorship be put to better use ?

a certain team north of the border have done wonders for their team and its place of work .but according to reports , still cant make anything from it . workington had team suits in the stoney era, but still could not halt the dwindling fan base . so better to save the money and make it last as long as poss . + riders like their own gear .

yep , lets just add to the expense of the sport .but i suppose they can get it back by increasing the entry fee to all tracks . that should do it .. . may as well charge the fans to get out the tracks as well . but if thats what it take , do it .

should have been @ workington for the 3 semis and the 3 finals . those meetings will take some beating for entertainment .

have you not made your mind up yet as to what team to support from a distance ? will it be a Brexit decision and be made at the last hurdle or will it be made at the end of the 2019 season . just that its dragging on a bit and time is short to the start of the new season . maybe Brexit will be decided before you do . but good lick with her final outcome . LOL

£100.00 a point eh . this figure was denied about riders points money by the workington promotion ( the last one ) a few years ago , but still worky were accused of paying over the odds in the last few years for riders points money . so whats true and what is not ?

you have to give Josh Mcdonald a go. he seems keen enough and wont set off any alarms in newcastle hotels . wilko has had his day . time to bring in new blood i think .

Glasgows sizeable away support had dwindled @ Derwent Park for the last 2 years . in the first year their support was easy to spot , but the 2018 season was an away support flop . the honeymoon period was almost over for away supporters .
