didnt John Walsh jump ship from the speedway ages ago . why ask him. he does not even go anymore , just like the rest of us . but hey , if ever the speedway returns , Walshy will be there wanting his free admission and nominal fee . as long as he gets his name in the paper and on tv . he will be happy as a pig in ....

just put a few whoops , table tops and a fox hole shot and its a rye house track on steroids lol. if they put on ladies hockey , i may even nip down for a few matches .

well done Eastbourne .. now the only thing bothering me is . what do i watch. the champions league football in which the irons are not involved or the speedway GP RD 2 ?cannot record on BT sports , so it looks like the channel change button is going to be red hot . thank god for no speedway @ workington this year . a blessing in disguise .NOT.

you have to say the days of travelling fans are just about over . maybe the odd one or two fitting in a visit to friends or family , with the joyous visit to an away track . its just got too dear to do that sort of thing now .

so what if the comets had run in 2019 , where were the reds going to go ? all those who said the track was ripped up ages ago were telling porkies and all this work started on Monday this week . ALL three clubs need to put out matching statements regarding what is happening to Derwent Park . i think we were all lied to about the comets continuing in 2019 by (wait for it ) our own speedway promotion ! .

what a nugget that Godfrey is . i hope jedd screws him over after being shown the door by one of the poorest , if not THE poorest promoter in the last few seasons . tell him where to stick it Jedd !

it will not be long until they have to include all meetings (inc challenge ), so they have a rolling average of twenty meetings over the season . prob even guest bookings !
