nice stadium @ sheffield , but speedway was brought up on old open ground. its a poor mans enjoyment and will always be that . what better way to spend an evening out watching speedway . the noise, the smell and the banter of the crowd buzzing in yer lugs . give me wide ope spaces , a chip/burger butty and a warm pint any day ! fans who are behind glass and sitting down eating fancy food dont do it for me . i like to watch speedway in the open air , go home happy and then have a shower to get rid of all the shale from my hair (.bit thin now tho) too many showers ... posh stadiums cost shot loads of cash to operate and will suck the life out of speedway as we know it ... . ask belle vue and another posh club who cant make ends meet .

Hmmm . a field of dreams , build it and they will come ! plenty of spare fields in Cumbria , but the sheep like them !

i think you can only use IRR if the rider is injured and not able to complete his rides and IF he was injured in the meeting on the day . after that it guests or r/r .as norma; . -
Scunthorpe Vs Sheffield 21st June Championship

i think @ the time i posted that, he was a sheffield rider and not a workington rider . . if i remember he rode like a doosh bag because he knew he was not coming back to workington speedway . i also remember kyle saying in the pits that we(sheffield) would do this lot (workington) tonight . those words came back to haunt him as worky . beat the tigers . so slamming riders and fans works both ways , dunnit . -
i think he is pretty busy on Sundays !

i doubt it . has trouble remembering his hame .lol. gone way off the boil . -
thats a bit like Simon lambert and ully oystergard @ Peterborough . it happened year after year , so dont go knocking Newcastle or Phillips . it is what it is . some teams stay loyal and to be honest danny is prob the one on the cheapest rate going and helping keep Newcastle afloat in these tough times . prob if dannys dad had not bought into the club , it would not have started the 2019 season . so who owns Peterborough now the ? in ged you trusted !

that looks like the only team sheffield will beat @ home in 2019 !
-
its a forum , fans are entitled to their say . some fans have great COMmEnTS about HOW speedway should be run . maybe its time to sit down and mull some of those COMmEnTS over .clubs and management get tied up in their own bubble at times . dont worry tho , you will be in good company in the N.L.

aye , thats the best way to do it Gaz the c !. stop reading if you are getting nowt frae it . dirt being dug up .. thats what you do on a regular bases . grass seeds being planted ... .... they need a wee bit of seed to make it grow .without seed , you only get weeds like the ones on the back straight @ ashfield . same grass seeds being washed away . ... damn that rainy wet stuff grass seeds being planted again ....what , the same grass seeds ? camber on pitch (wtf)... you have to have some sort of camber so the rain water can run off . but not into the middle of the pitch .i bet you think roads that you drive on are flat as well . they aint . heavy plant missing... is that the tree ? heavy plant not missing ... pikies brought if back ! heavy plant missing again ... pikies borrowed it again lights taken down... rugby / football have no need for ex/stop lights electrical wiring removed .... taken down before the pikies get it .. unlike you , many fans are still interested in this thread . we cant choose who reads it , but you can put yourself in a better place by NOT reading in and maybe even think of glasgows future and the N.L. the goings on @ derwent park are of little interest to you . so stop reading it . all we need now are the three JUST men to put an appearance in and we are sorted . enter the sad, and confused trio .. nappy daze .. -
are there any DVDs being produced for sale @ Glasgow in the 2019 season . can anyone help ?
