i think workington tried that . they came out with this line . if the people of workington want to watch speedway , they will have to come and see it at Derwent P ark .... it did not work . the fans wanted the DVD as well . they moved on and never came back... they wanted as much stuff on their club as poss. ... not a good move from Glasgow , i think .

bit of a shame for the Eastbourne fans as their team put up a good showing .it will be a shame if eastbourne reach and win the final and have no means of watching it . on the other hand if Glasgow were to do the final and win it . i can see a box set being available . . . maybe a season long league meetings on DVD on how the tigers won the championship ! now theres an idea .

can you tell me why they are taping/videoing the meetings if they no longer want to sell them ? seems strange , may as well no do any at all and save money or do you have to go through the company who actually done the video/tape thingy ? it seems a shame to not put them out ..

Bickley nailed on to being @ Glasgow in 2020 . unless of course they lose shed loads of money and have to ply their trade in a lower league . going from memory i think most of the cl riders are around 4/5 ish . not too sure tho .

dont forget , put plenty of water down . Rory does not like a grippy/dirty or watered track ... dump a big puddle of water on the track outside the pits gate and that will sort out the aussie pom lol. he will be beaten before he starts ...

oh, to be @ that meeting . big praise for both teams on putting on a terrific performance for the paying and non paying fans . my support was 40 60 in the eagles favour . but the tigs came back strong in the final heats . a special mention for the wonderful , adoring and very likeable Paulco , who made this evenings clash on here a very special one . it could be harder for the tigers @ eastbourne . but more of the same will do . thanks again Paulco . you are almost on the Christmas list lol . the rider that turned it around for GLASGOW was kyle in the final few heats , otherwise the tigs were H18TORY . thanks again marra !

promoting cost money and for someone to stand near or within shouting distance of the stadium and ask people if they were going to the speedway and then be given a free entry ticket when they replied YES was stupid . blobs and co had already decided to go and PAY to gain entry . being given a free pair of tickets was like a small win on the lottery . so who gains from the free ticket promoting ? the only thing Glasgow done was rob theme selves of two paying customers that were already going to pay ! now thats promoting for ya . jeeezz . worky gave away free tickets @ the Cumberland show and many other small weekend events . strange thing tho . these free tickets found theme selves in the hands of workington supporters (the regulars) the free ticket entry kiosk was 3 times as bust as the normal turnstiles and these fans were even wearing their blu n white speedway jackets ! so if that promoting Glasgow speedway , you carry on the short road to being bankrupt .

fancy you not helping the poor tigers coffers . the faccues have attracted many new/old supporters of the sport , just need to get them to chip in with the entry cash and maybe it will in the black and not the red .@ the end of the 19 season . but saying that , there is always the 3rd tier league . its more than we have @ the moment !
