think you will find most, if not all of them are pulling in the purse strings. i would like to see jason crump at workington in 2013.l.o.l.

sad to read an article like that . if the truth were known , most forms of entertainment in sport are struggling at this moment in time . football, rugby etc. hope the monarchs and every other speedway club survives its cash crises and comes out smelling of roses. we at workington would give our right arms to have had a promoter like jdc.

just another ploy to get fans into derwent park. just so mr d can tall the fans that he will not run workington speedway next y, someone else will be in charge. so i may as well stop in the house and follow it on the updates site and save myself 15 quid. cos that is what you arte going to get charged. the discount that was coming will never come. once again we are all being robbed by the jameater. prove me wrong jameater and offer the followers of our club an insentive to go to dp tonight and hand over their hard earned cash. ant discoubt for the admission price should have been made public on mon/tues at the latest/ cant wait for him to walk away from our sport.

the pic shows rich on the whiie line, but not over it . craig is not hugging the line , so there was a gap... dont know why craig spat the dummy out, he done it loads of times when he rode for worky. what the pic does not show is adam blasting round the outside to pur mr dook into 3rd . hence the dummt. oh and why wasnt craig fined for not clearing the track. his bike was not jammed up or anything. oh iknow, tt was jammed up with grass in the rear wheel and a thick sod on the seat. lol.. -
now then, now then, now then. with workington being the fall guys for the missing 5 heats or so in last weeks meet v ippo. a return to the old 13 heat formula would be the way forward.(back to the future).. the shortened heats would give the chance for the meeting to run its full course and not have the stupid decision of names out of a hat or a team backing out of the comp, ala , worky. the second half should still be run as it was in the 70s . everyone still gets the extra ride and the up n comers would get a chance to race just before the rider of the night race. plus the public are getting the same entertainment in the time they are there. BRING BACK 13 HEATS PLUS 2ND HALF/++

good luck to ippo . hope you dont come up against the same type of problem as we at worky did. then again, you have a pure speedway fan in charge and not a power crazy jam eater.. -

not one to kick off and bad mouth riders, but if kyle howarth rides for poole in the finals and scores well. he will have done an injustice to himself and workington fans .maybe the elite is weaker than the premier league. i am not sure. was he keeping his best bike for the elite play offs. how can one rider go from scoring 18 points one week , to scoring 2/3 points for his premier club the rest of the weeks. i , like most of my posse think he is riding a bike that has been thrown together and is keeping his no 1 bike for lthe elite playiffs. i am sure worky are in the play offs , just. i await to be proven wrong. that he is having a poor tail end to his season -
