i think the meeting on sunday is because knickerless klink is unavailable for the scorps. i am only going to this meeting bacause i have a posponed ticket from the medicgate meeting. .. why do we bow down to other teams . can only see a scorps win as we have lost the plot in the art of speedway racing. going to spend more time going to motocross meeting as from sunday where i know i will be entertained and feel as though i have had VALUE for money. SPEEDWAY IS KILLING ITSELF. double uppers etc,

parking is good. park at the stadium car park or go past the stadiun entrance for approx 100 tds and on the left OR the right you will have a choice of parking. getting there early ensures you a parking place inthe stadium. be prepared to pay a quis entry. bring some food and drink bacause we only have one refreshment van. although it is easier to access the van if you are going in the grandstand(its no good to us 1st/2nd bend supporters. .. first set of turnstiles are for the ground area and a wee walk down past the pit gate and you come to the grandstand entrance. free race card. if you have any probs, go on the OFFICIAL COMETS SITE where you will find all the info, inc postal code.bring yer wellies.

i bet the sheff promotion were rubbing their hands when i said there was 200. i, it was a miscalculation on my behalf... still going to tip wprkington for a win. start digging those spuds up, at least the fans will be able to buy some chips.lets hope the rain stays away and the meeting runs as it should. worky fans, dont pin your hopes on mr wells getting a bucket load of points. he couldnt ride the track last year. so fingers crossed..

i think we are bringing our own medical equipment (if we can find it ) lol. workington riders will be wearing wellies for this meet as the sheff track always resembles a farmers ploughed field...more lols.

tight meeting between 2 injury hit teams, but workington to win, as always..i understand there is around 200 workington travelling fans going to this . that will double sheffields gate and empty workington town. lol. safe and entertaining meeting to everyone involved. thank you sheffield for the 4 points..

heard a bit of gossip that if any teams in the pl who have not met the required matches raced by the cut off date. the points will be awarded to teams by the bspa .. they will sit around a table and give the points to the team that they thought would have won/drawn . this will only applty to the pl meetings that have been cancelled for whatever reason. so with worky only having ridden 9 meetings so far, this could prove a godsend to us.just what ive heard. so dont take it as gospel...
