Glasgow Vs Scunthorpe (pl) - 07/06/15
jenga replied to lucifer sam's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
lights and transponders are the way to go. no more jump starts and proper track records ! the information you can get from a transponder is limitless. fastest time.lap, quickest reaction time, etc and more importantly no more jump starts, rollers, no more FANTASY new track records and no more knicker elastic. elastic bands to start a race, mr S roller must have loved it today. -

still testing the operation of the tapes . thought they were supposed to be tested BEFORE the meeting starts. its one way to chase all those extra fans that glasgow have acquired this season.. throw some paint on them, they might work. looking like a tight meeting at the moment . scores are very close. -

seems like the guy to fill the gap. does he ride any where else on your race day ?.. see , i didn't disappoint you. i must admit that its going to be hard (easy) for any team to replace a fully fledged number 1 at the moment.

BELLE VUE V LAKESIDE. 1ST JUNE 2016. gonna be a long wait . -
forgive my ignorance if this has been mentioned before but, if the meeting does/cannot run its full course. then the points awarded should reflect on the number of heat run ( 10 ) before the cancellation of the meeting. i for one don't think its right that poole were awarded the full 4 points for a 10 heat meeting. i would have thought the points should reflect the heats raced. why not have it , say 00.35 for every race completed IF the meeting does not run its course. poole were very happy to go out in heats 9/10 knowing they had already had 4 points in the bag due to door handle head havelock instructing his riders not to ride. every heat result should be looked at and awarded a % of the points. therefore not allowing the full points on offer to the winning team when the meeting is called off. this rule will give poole say, 2 points for the win and coventry 0.( because of the eventual point difference between the 2 teams ) and not the full 3/4 points on offer if the meeting had run its course. i can see both sides of the coin and havvy trying to get the meeting off and middle witch trying to carry on.. can see this meeting call off last night having a reduction in the attendance for the following week. a lot of fans are down at least twenty quid after last nights meet. cant be a lot of room left in that coffin lid...

that sly young havvy, saving money for the coventry bees management,, harris and co paid short money. but safety is most important .. and money runs it a very close second.. less fans at Coventry and in speedway in general. can see both sides of the story and hav is gob 5hi73.. feel for fans. ELITE LEAGUE GARGAGE yet again..... glad i dont pay for it..
