i will find out if its an ongoing charge when i have notice of my next bill . think its due on the 13th of next month with the notice a week or so earlier . adding to that the bt box has. started playing up . i can watch bt sports 1 (fishing ) but as soon as i change channel to say bbc1 or any other channel its a no show . and now boris have put us all in jail for the next 3 weeks at least . it just gets better . but we all have to give it a go or ?i? and we thought having no speedway was bad .. i wonder who will be the first to get fined for joy riding during the lock down ?

thats is what i was told by the bt call centre . its a way of getting you into a new 18 month contract . i am not aware of the new ruling / prob thats why they wait until they have the chance to alter your contract by saying i have used too much of whatever and they are putting the price up due to being generous with their phone lines . i will just have to see if my next payment is based on the higher price or not . i wonder if its still in the small print of their contracts ? .B.T.W. its approx £7 + per month extra , so that will be £ 72.00 a month in total .

BT may reap the benefits now with their ignorance . but come the time when most peoples 18 month contract runs out , they will be in deep doo doo . i am sure every time you alter your bt account (adding or subtracting channels ) you enter into another 18 month contract . my bt contract was supposed to end in sept 2020 . they phoned me up tp say i had gone over my monthly land line usage and added £7.00 extra to my account . i asked if this was a one off payment and was told it was for the remaining contract that would finish in jan 2021 ! now looking forward to jan 2021 so i can give them the middle finger . they may try to give you a cracking deal . but whats the point of taking it on when they will defo increase the monthly charge after a few months . so the power is in our hands , ditch bt and lets see how long that non listening company lasts ..

sorry to tell you , you just cannot dump bt sports like that . you either have buy out the remainder of you contract (mine quote was almost the remaining contract ) . or by the courts or something like that . bt are still giving you the sports channels , but not the sports that you signed up for ! in their eyes they are still giving you football etc . but not the ones you want . i phoned to complain about this and they opened up a complaint for me . i was waiting for an arranged phone call on friday between 4.30pm a n 6 pm . it never happened . still waiting . also they increased my monthly contract because i went over my phone usage for one month and i was told the new payment would that figure for the remainder of my contract . will bt get my custom next time around .. no chance . but on the brighter side of things , at least they have proper english speaking call centres ( scottish ). ! ! ! anyone else had these issues ?

Easy , just go out and panic buy . take a leaf out of everyone elses book ! also how do the goverment advise the people about how to go about things when they dont even know enough about the virus itself ? done a wee bit if shopping and i was amazed at the number of people who were buying fresh produce instead of safe tinned items that last a long time .... included !

i have been down that road before when workington had to pull the plug on the 2nd half of their double header due to the track freezing over . some fans moaned a bit about getting a refund for the lost meeting . the people who i used to stand with all walked away and left it at that . they did not make a fuss about wanting cash back . also the van had been filled with fuel . no saving there then ! so looks like we are true fans after all ! T.I.C. .

i too had the same reaction from the Hawkstone International moto x people when they made a comment about fans that did not turn up because of that first storm . and classed the fans that did turn up as true fans ! we were travelling from cumbria to Shrewsbury . by the time we had reached kendal we were already 1 hour behind in time . the driving wind and rain made it impossible to get to the mx meeting in time , so we turned back home . i think the wording true fans is quite awful really . we all love motorsports in one way or another . we are all true fans. . just because people cant make it , they are still TRUE FANS ..

so it looks like the only speedway team that will not be running in 2020 is Glasgow as they get over 500 people a week . while all the rest are able to run ! i was looking forward to the tigers results this season with their new approach to team building as well ... looks like we will all get a reduction in price for any sports package by BT , SKY or other platforms as they cant provide the sport you signed up for .
