one with a bit of soul in it . with regards to simon lambert , when he had his spell at workington, he was an absolute hero . great gater, steady and fitted in with everyone. good guy to have in any team . i think he has reached his peak. but at worky was very consistent with his form .. anyone who doubts his riding ability has hot really seen him on a good day . have him back at worky any day . except this season, cos we have adam . good luck to him for this season ..

yes, why indeed. did i have a so called pop @ lambert being @ worky for the first meeting . it was a question that most fans wanted to know. even newcastle fans . given mr lamberts history it was a relevant question of him attending or not . newcastle would have known his other commitments when they signed him in good time before the season started .(months) ? i wold like to keep an eye on his absent record for this season ! jensen was signed as a replacement for ty (as you know) who didn't/couldnt make the start of the season due to other issues . jensen was going to give the uk season a miss and after a number of avenues were dead ends . the management were put in a position where they signed what they believed the best rider available to them at the time . they did know that he would miss meetings... so the way i see it , workington can justify jensens missing opener @ worky. so the next question is will robert and indeed jensen turn up for the following days opener @ brough ? maybe a look on the newcastle site will reveal the line ups , who knows. when you are on your own , never fart in a lift, there is only only one person to blame . what came first, the chicken or the egg ? the egg of course .

r/r @ 2 is going to give the workington promotion some flack about utilizing r/r for a rider who has not even had an official practice for workington yet . so hold onto yer knickers and run from the diamonds fans on here . just thought i would mention it before some other troll pipes up .. its going to be close, but hoping for a blu n white win... Newcastle look really good. is Lambert going to be there or is he using his get out clause ?

hmm! so a speedway bike does 4 laps a race, times that by 15 = 60 . now times that by 4, = 240. thats 240 laps by speedway bikes during the meeting . so a couple of tractors doing the grading during the meeting will do maybe 20/30 laps in total. thats some way short of the any figures/estimations you can come up with .. loooossser . all in the best possible taste of course . no harm done . just pointing out a small issue that you have with the maths thingy.

any info on the experienced 3 pointer (davey) being signed for edinburgh . i am having trouble sleeping .lol.

scunthorpe looking good or are ippo not the eam they think they are ? looks like all those new kevlars are going to be all the same colour if this keeps going on @ ippo. still its only the first meet, things can change . like how clean the yellow/green suits will be mid season . feel for ippo fans. a lot of hype and no special deliveries for them ..

but doesn't the team have to be lodged with the bspa/scb a good few days ( 7 ish) BEFORE the clubs first official fixture ? so thats just over a week or so .

well , its finally here for some. hope the rain clouds keep away in ippo and the meeting goes as it should. i think i will have to go for a home win , scunny look ok . but ippo are looking better in their green/yellow suits. but all that glitters, isn't gold. so good luck to every rider tonight, especially Mr auty. . not a fan of him , but he has had a few seasons bad luck and is due some good times . going to follow this on updates to get into the swing of things .. have a great nights racing to all .. hope that was a sensible enough post for you lot .

mr proctor will prob not get a team until about june/july as long term injuries to riders dont happen on a regular bases (unless you are stead/roynon or barker)) only a severe dip in form from another rider could make way for him earlier .

not to mention rene bach. i said dont mention him !
