just read the statement on the unofficial comets website . its a difficult time for all speedway promoters and i wish the berwick promotion happier times in the future . i hope a buyer can be found in time for 2017 and a successful team can be assembled . no one team is safe from the financial chop and i hope it turns out ok . another date seems possable . but if either rye or workington cannot field their own riders on the dates given by Peterborough . THEY'RE SCREWED . it happened to workington a good few years ago against, dare i say it > Edinburgh . moanarchs couldnt or wouldn't find a date possible before the cut off date .. so lets see just what el soup remo comes up with ..

that rule , i do believe was scrapped mid way through the season . ie . where an excluded rider could be replaced by another highest scorer . do think only 15 m counts or a reserve replacement . not another high scorer . i am sure . we need help here . its like the 15 m handicap for tape offenses , your put back 15m , but still in the same gate your were in originally . CRAZY RULE . very dangerous .
