just like to thank the two posters above on their kind replies about my COMmEnTS on the above post . its not very often i get nice replies , i,m not all bad , just 75% of me !

whatever decision laura and her team make will be the right decision for me . you cant keep putting money into a product that demands money on a regular bases . if speedway closes at workington , many people will moan about its closure and those that moan are the ones who only attend home meetings on a non regular bases . speedway needs fans through the gates in numbers and as a supporter i attend every week .its not fair to ask laura the pressure question about running next year . she will have plenty of time to make her decision in the coming months . a decision that is going to be extremely difficult for her . if the closure takes place , workington will not be the only one , Berwick,coventry and possibly peterborough as treading a fine line to continue .if the truth was known , many others are suffering the same fate, but reality just hasn't hit them yet . riders wage demands need to be lowered, which will in turn lower parts/machine prices because the demand for these product will fall . way too many riders treating this as a full time job and really creaming it .the end result is , us the fans have to stump up hard earned money to see our sport and the promoters take the biggest gamble in opening the doors for another season knowing it could easily go pear shaped . so , i for 1 will hope it stays in 2017 , but the reality is that it could close at any time and may never return , ever . so people need to support this product and the band of helpers and keep it sweet for next season . do what is best for yourself laura/team . its hard and its a 12 monthly ongoing task . you dont get a rest. so maybe its time to say goodbye and live your time in peace and quiet and no harassment from the out side world . i for one will not hold it against you . better to have loved and lost , than never to have loved at all .

bleedin eeck ! just seen the BORROWERS team for the meeting at Edinburgh . what a farce . ged /Peterborough should have a big slap on the wrist and possibly fined a good few quid as well. terrible side . feel for the monarchs paying fans . hang your head in shame ged ,, .disgraceful .

where as somerset didn't ! glasgow are a lot better than the non beer drinkers .

are you related to morrissey fan ? so you wanted to take a 2 grand bet to say mason wouldn't reach a 6 point average, yet the guy was stuck with a sub 5 average . thats a huge increase in his average he would have to achieve .. over 1 and a bit points . so your bet was a safe one . exultant odds for yourself . keep your money in your pocket and have a night out with morrissey fan . w/nk !

with ged,s hire and fire scheme , i dont think kenneth will last a season with the panthers . his home scores will be ok, but his away form is very different . great to watch at home , but a wee bit poor on away tracks . so i will stick my neck out and say he will be a panther net season, but as to how long he will last is another thing if ged is still in charge . reading between the lines i think ged will move closer to his home and start afresh . berwick,redcar or workington . but its all pie in the sky at the moment and this 2016 season has not finished yet , apart from you guys ! dont think perry will be back for you and kus will back at jawdee land .

after watching both teams at workington in the last 2 weeks.(somerset without jake A) i feel as though glasgow are a little bit better and have a nice top 5 . where as somerset are relying on the wright starke pairing to hit some scores . if they dont turn up , it glasgow,s for the taking . but its going to be tight .looks a cracker .

sorry to disappoint you paulco , but ALL the trophy's , bar the pairs , the plrc, the fours . i think there is only 3 more after that . apart from the one with the freshest paint and the biggest wage bill . you will win something this season , just dont know what it is yet . good luck when we meet on Sunday . praying for rain already .

well done on both teams securing their place in the play off,s . so glad ippo made it eventually . on a sour note---- good to see the panthers missing out . feel sorry for ged , but that,s speedway . just may pay a visit to the more local tracks for one of the play off meetings .

they didn't help workington out a good few years ago when they said they couldnt fit in a league fixture before the cut off date . so no change there then.. oopps .sorry for posting .

not necessarily i think peterborough were give a bit of time after the A.G.M. a few years ago . .

something tells me either you or redcar will have another investor in 2017. it could be one that puts the miles in for another club and is now looking a bit closer to home to fulfill his dreams . hope it all gets sorted for ya .
