dont blame Boris , blame the thousands of humans who went to the beaches, pubs and other events and could not get to grips with the covid craic . they are the ones who put the mockers on the next 6 months + . -

its been announced this morning that the powers that be are thinking/proposing sports venues to have no public in the Stadiums , grounds when events are taking place .. plus less deaths will happen in this winter period because most of the fragile people have been taken from us before winter kicks in . -

workington had a rider (sarj) who said he was losing money racing season after season . so it looks like riders do go to ride speedway and not make any money from it . may i just add that a lot of people in work are actually in working poverty . wasnt it the 4tt @ peterborough when a few riders did not show up for the individual meeting because the pay on offer was not good enough , but still rode in the 4tt .. not to worry tho. its only the fans that pay their wages on an even more regular bases ! as for risking life , we all do that when we cross the road or even eat out somewhere ! -

didnt he rear end a truck and the fuel was supposed to be inside the car in the personal quarters . not sure , but i think it was a fuel tanker involved .. ? ? ?

British Speedway to be reborn??
jenga replied to MatthewAiden's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
for some reason i thought hull did not come to the tapes after they had their great season . was dave peet in charge for that season ? had a few visits to hull over the years due to extended family ties . i found the hull fans chatty and very welcoming . (apart from one dipstick ! who called out to stoney when he fell off. .get up ya bum ). stoney a bum , whatever next . maybe the early days will return ? -
British Speedway to be reborn??

Hull and Workington both had winning teams in their final seasons , but did not come to the tapes the following season . worky even had cookie in the team when he was an out n out number one . being local , craig put a few more bums in the ground . but not that many to shout about . the sport is too expensive to run with riders expecting full time wages . early days glory cannot be kept going in this day n age .
