stop in the pl , we will all miss the flag . apart from sheffield . whats the next rule at sheffield , you can only stop in the stadium for as long as you can hold your breath for.? ? ?

auty has already said he is at scunny in 2017 . it was a couple of months ago when he made the statement .

at the start of the season , i personally didnt give somerset a chance of winning the league , let alone the two other meetings, pairs and league cup . but thanks to jake allen and a revitalsed rohan t . the revels put together an amazing fun and with that their confidence grew and grew . so well done to them and unlucky for sheffield having to run with guests when injuries kicked in . with a full side , sheff may have sneaked this on agg . but revels were hot all season long. sorry for not spending a lot of time on the rebels site , but at this moment in time the borrowers site is far more entertaining. you know what i mean ! one again , well done somerset for an amazing run in speedway .. off to be sick now .lol.

laura and her team are true fans of the sport . its been common knowledge that there is a loss at most meetings . its just needs a bit of tweaking at the agm to find a solution for most clubs trying to make a go of it . the solution is out there , hope the riders can see it and dont throw the toys out . . maybe just running on one side if the tyre could reduce costs and turn the tyre around for the following meeting . no advantage gained, everyone starts off with a new edge . the only problem i can see is , where do you store the tyres until the return fixture . gp riders change tyres every race . what a waste of a tyre .

why dont all the fans go to home/away meeting in black clothes, not cheer when their team wins and not buy any thing from the track shops . the promoters will soon want the flags flying and the fans cheering . it will be in line with some of the dire music that some tracks play over the pa .

when the revels come to workington , they always fly the flag with no problems from the home fans . long may it continue . now where did i put that clown suit ?

i think most of the non participating teams fans want the underdogs to win (sheff) . but in all honesty somerset deserve to be crowned the champions imo . they have been outstanding for a few years now and deserve all the credit they get . okay , some of us come on here and give them a fair bit of stick , myself included . but its all banter and if we all kept out thoughts to ourselves there would be no forum posters . good and safe meetings to both teams and lets hope its a good one/two for the fans that travel to these meetings and to us keyboard critics . good luck to the mullet man and mr greaves .(soft spot). hope to see all the teams back at worky next season .

its just like being ill at work , they will get cover for you by means of other workers . (riders) cant see the problem .

i think 3 point riders who came into the pl and gained a slightly higher average should be allowed back into the pl on their new average @ number 7 . the likes of dan bewley who achieved a 4 point average should be able to return to the number 7 berth ,.. its the only way to keep young and old brits (ayres) in the pl and gaining experience . big payment out at Glasgow for mr bewley .lol. if we dont do this there will be an even bigger shortage of British talent around in future years .

and the guys who have obtained an average of just over 3.00 are binned, just like branford last season. hope not .

i will start the wish list off for you , dan bewley. . thats one .

Gregs comments are on par , if not better than N.K.I and his sponge in the tank excuse . the only thing on a speedway bike that can be called a lever is the clutch lever . too tight and the clutch slips and bellows smoke . if the lever mechanism on the handlebars fell apart he would still have constant drive to the rear wheel. he would then have to stall the bike in order to stop it . but to do another race with the same fault , i dont think so . sack the mechs i say . i am not too sure if any other new devices have been introduced this year . no de compressors or such like . the only thing i can think of is a steering stabilizer like the moto gp etc bikes have . but these are not fitted to speedway machines . you cant blame technology for Greg's failure, its a basic motorcycle .just a poor decision by Greg . thinking on his feet . NOT . the best thing to come out of america was the Harley Davidson engine called the knucklehead , now we have Hancock as the next knucklehead to come out of america but not necessarily the best . the fantasy handlebar lever strikes for the first time . next excuse please .

well done greg hancock , champion again . anyone remember joe screen team riding mark loram in marks quest to become world champ . or tomas gollob team riding with an opposition rider in the world cup or jason dole deliberately slowing a race down so emil kramer could get the vital points they required to win the pairs or even your own rider slowing down so his mate could get a full max and not a paid one . it happens all over the country . but to withdraw was a step too far . sorry greg , legend that you are , it hurts to us fans .

WOW , just seen this (been on the moon) fantastic result for sheffield and not a good one gor glasgow . looking at the updates site . it must have been pretty nerve racking for all those there . looks like sissis done a great job and the show pony didnt . but thats speedway . the big question now is, can glasgee recover and finish on a high or will the crammed in meetings take their toll? in my eyes revels won the league and it will be a shame if they dont do the biz in the final . another question is , will the facu,s be as generous with their pay structure next season or will they return to the real word of speedway as we know it . once again , well done to the steel town who stole this semi .!
