just like to inform you that the curfew is 10 pm and the 65 p per int beer can be found in all pubs in workington before 8.30 am . the only down side is that it may have a tinge of pipe cleaner thrown in . so yes 65 p a int does exist in worky . you just need the stomach to drink it !

mathematicaly being the key word in this debate . if it was still posable the meeting should have been re run.then just because a football team is bottom of the premier league at christmas , does not mean it will be out of the pl come the end of the season .. i was just wondering what other fans think of glasgow being awarded 4 points for their win at redcar the other week , even though heat 10 was not reached ! awarded after heat 9 .they make a rule that after heat 10 the result can stand and not before . then they come up with a sub section that it can be awarded in certain circumstances . its speedway , anything can happen . what next ? maybe if a home team gets to 57 ish points in a 2 legged cup match or something . they could turn around and say, the away team has no chance of beating in the return leg and award the agg win to the team that scored 57 ish points in the first leg ? SPEEDWAY IS FAST BECOMING A JOKE SPORT AND FANS ARE TURNING THEIR BACKS ON IT AND TAKING THEIR KIDS TO MCDONALDS IN STEAD . yea the rule are pure p1$$. redcar on another day could have quite easily turned the meeting around .....

its not good for any meeting to be cancelled for the weather , nowadays . but donald trump does not think climate change exists . so he is going to make the rest of us pay for his ignorance . some people bide by the rules and others couldnt give a toss oh , wait a second ... .that remind me of a so called promoter from peterborough . when workington was rained off . many workington fans asked for their money back because the refund thet SHOULD have got was better off in their pockets than someone elses . upon approaching mr rathbone they asked for the refund and explained that they were not too sure if they were coming back to the re staging or not and that they had travelled a loog way from cumbria . mr rathbone said NO refunds would be given ( peterborough policy ) and the entry ticket would be valid for the re staging of the meeting . he also added the he also had travelled a long way too . if the meeting had gone ahead , peterborough would have made money . so now they will make more money from the paying public from workington ( fans bitten will not return )., but will not get their repeat custom . which has a knock on effect for things like the fours etc. so yes . once again the paying public is the last thing on a promoters mind . i see you had to e mail scunny for a refund , well at least you were offered one , more than the wqorky fans were able to get . so maybe you should look at your own promotion as to keeping the paying public happy and getting repeat customers through the door instead of bad mouthing the scunny people. people on the turnstiles dont have the necc knowledge about email addresses and other info . maybe it was in the programme notes ? was the email address in there or did you not buy a programme ? turnstile operators often go when they have cashed in and are not interested in speedway . so before you start bad mouthing scunny off better take a long hard look at your own promotion and especially mr rathbone with his , couldnt give a f...k about the paying customers .. all tracks offer refunds , except . GUESS WHO .

why dont we just decide the meeting on the flip of a coin . cut out all the expence of machinary , travelling why should a team manager try to change the rules for the benefit of his team when he already know the heat ten rule . if you dont get past it , its a rerun .... hail , rain, sun off or accidents . curfews are ther to protect the locals as well .. dicko is not donald trum p , is he ? i am all for 8 heat meetings as long as they do 16 laps a heat .
