the decision to only have the top 4 in the play off,s has backfired on british speedway . dont blame the fans for not wanting to go because their team has no or little chance of a top 4 finish . with a top 6 playoff . at least you had a chance of trying to creep into the playoffs and kept the interest going to the season end (ish) the top 4 finish has all but ruined a lot of fans hopes AND IN THE MIDDLE OF JUNE F.F.S. . fans are looking for excuses not to go . (because their team cant reach the playoffs ) and the bspa have given them it .... so that wonderful team we call the bspa or whatever have sunk another nail in our beloved sport . i am sure the bspa will realise their mistake and revert back to top 6 .or maybe some near end of season rule change ( they are good at that ) and make sure that glamour teams who were going to miss out , get a second chance . eh ged and george !

first of all , can i say sorry to 2ndbender for editing his post . just think of this meeting as a premier (elite) league meeting that the premier clubs fans are having to pay for now . you could find these riders ,morley, bowfell in any premiuer side this year and you would still pay 16/18 quid to watch 1 top rider and the remainder of championship middle order men . such is the way that speedway in general has become . its time to make the top championship riders move up or bail out of the premiership altogether . redcar with 3 guests and r/r fr tonightsmeeting v newcastle also ...
