we at workington are really happy with the lush green rugby pitch at speedway meetings in the night , pity about the track not being so bright tho .

now the biting makes sense ! i sarjeant will frustrate the crap out of you in heat 2 and any other heats he is in . but hey , thats not my problem , ITS YOURS ...

just for you MANSE . kyle pledged this season to workington . but words are cheap , so we have to wait and see .

i thought ty proctor had increased his average , so performed well enough through out the season . where as tj had some great meetings and some big off,s that sort pf ruined his season . but thats what speedway riders do , ride hard n fast , then get injured . anyhow , we are looking for names of riders for next year and not here to diss them . they all do a great job in the entertainment department .apart from the odd one or two ! ! !

so no feedback from the annual d/d ! looks like that old chestnut of , we cant say anything until we know how the league is going to pan out . its funny how a promoter can be a self employed person , but not have any or little say i how to make their product better . its like a bunch of M.P.s without the iffy stuff . ahh well , just keep the public guessing and eventually they will turn their backs on the sport . ehh , what do ya mean they have . !

NO , but i bet my ears are burning tonight ! although a loyal fan and always paying my way at workington . i am not one to sniff around at doo,s and dinner parties . i have not been to an end of season doo since the return of speedway to workington . i leave that for the fake fan , to quote someone ! missed off for reasons known to ?????????? . the last sentence is with the match report from the last meeting @ glasgow ... missing. .

with the dinner/dance and local wrestling this coming Friday (3rd nov ) i think its a bit early to try and put names on here , but here goes . only one name at a time . its got to be mason mercury campton . if he can carry on and get 3 seasons in, he will improve . had a good season and put in some great scores , had a few mares as well tho . dont know what the visa thing is tho . here,s hoping we run next year .

i take it lucifer sam (AKA rob) is a promoter of some sort and if this is true. it goes to show that promoters are way behind in what goes on in speedway i now await a back lash from a promoter .

i think i have just solved the fixture problem ! why dont we run the normal speedway during the summer .(thats when the big light is in the sky). and then run the G.P,s , world cup tat during the uk clase season . no weeks off in the summer . lets face it , joe bloggs does not give a monkeys chuff about that sort of stuff . rider can ride all year . uk speedway gets back to being a summer sport . more fans NOT freezing their tots off . let the fim or whoever take the hits with rain offs n stuff . a nice reasonable length to the season , instead of dragging it out . ROLL ON TOMORROW........ .dinner and fights lol.

they only tell fans what they want to hear on the last day of the season , so they dont get their van/equipment trashed lol.

and then come near the end of the season , they are totally burnt out and cant be ar$$ed to turn out for their clubs and cheat the fans ! lets just put them on 2 days a week (like normal people) and have a wee 9 to 5 job and use their holidays to have time off and race . get them ALL on that gtr motor or whatever its called , less servicing , less wear n tear cos they are not burning things out . i think they done something like it in the 70,s . plus in 5 years time all the speedway products will be as cheap as chips . just have sooper dooper engines for the big league and cheaper stuff for the next league down and used bikes n stuff for the nl . less money to pay out ,means less entry fees and hopefully running costs . if a rider wants to use a tyre that has already done a meetin g ,let him . yes , i know the round thing does not last that long .

i was sure peter commented on the black shale being more grippy `! oh well , you guys would know better than i . for years i have had that stuck in my head it was black .i stand corrected by the people of knowledge .

promotion and relagation , its only a title for another end of season meeting . its a load of bollox . fans can see it , why cant the bspa/scb see it ? any team that wants to apply to gain an entry into ANY league can just shove the cash ( BUNG ) and they are in . bspa/scb are just a bunch of farmers and they are milking the product for all they can .. there is going to be some interesting reading coming up . lets see who bails out of the high ranking farmers !

something tells me there will not be many big guys in the championship next season . just a cost thing really !
