so , looks like we could be on for another year with speedway @ workington . not going to celebrate as its not been clarified by anyone from the official workington management . fingers crossed .

so according to the speedway forum ( this one ) the championship has gone from 10 teams last year to ... wait for it ....11. pos lakeside joining ? so putting 2 and 2 together and getting 4. this COULD mean that the comets will be running in 2018. hope its true and not fake news from another poster . so looks like we COULD be a starter in 2018 .heres hoping ..

the way sarj rode last season , there was a chance he could have been @ number 8 ! he couldnt even put up a fight in heat 2 .. he was that good . but money talks and some of the stick he got from fans was justified .

i am not too sure . arron has come to workington and scored some big and important points against us , but i think the guest bookings he done for us have put a few off wanting him to be at workington . next season . plus most fans think its a wolbert move to lower his average . you only have to look at james sarjeant to see what we mean ! me personally , its a big NO . you still need to send me your bank details ..

ahh , thats right . he told me he was going away for a wee while . did he mention you had to give me his bank details and passwords etc . just so i can pass some money onto him via his bank a/c . it is a six figure sum and think it will sort his holidays out for life . so be as quick as you like but dont leave it too late as it would be a nice suprise for him when he gets back from his hols !

anyone with a number 1 on his back deservers to command a wee bit extra . thats why last seasons number 1 left for edinburgh all those years ago .

i think the race day change may put a few regulars off . but we will just have to wait n see .
