hoggy is prob one of the best , if not THE best presenters in speedway . i think he has a bigger fan base than some of the riders ! its been enjoyable listening to him for the last few years and i hope he has enjoyed the cumbrian craic . i hope he can continue with his banter and wit @workington for years to come . the same must be said for all those people who give up their spare time to help run the club and meeting . me, i am looking forward to the end of march to enjoy the delights of what looks like a good team (with a few! locals scoped in ! )hope you can do a few HOME meetings in 2018 tiger . but that hoggy guy . how far off is hans knees and bumpsadaist signing for you guys . or are you looking to get R/R for the whole season . i think ged will leave it until the last min and then the muppets @ the muppet house will cave in and it will be all restrictions lifted and cats end up with hans and scott . all in the best interest of the sport , of course ..

if you cast you mind back to the early days when there was no silencers on the bikes (straight through pipe ) it was as loud as ,./1 but we went home happy , covered in chit . and all for a few quid . then the silencers came in . lots of strange ones too . we had a garage full of the roe silencers . as speedway progressed ( ? ) many oddments were tried. even Eddie K had his own ! the bikes got quieter , we moaned , but still supported this great sport . its only a matter of time when fuel WILL run out and the lecky bike will splash onto the scene . todays supporters were brought up on noise and smells of the sport . tomorrows supporters will be brought up on voltage info . and still be on the mobile while they watch a race . no noise . we wont see it, others may . thanks for the input people , it shortened the start day for speedway . cheers ..
