  1. you mean back to glasgow . looks like he is doing a sarj ! where are all the comments from the ammers fans , oopps . forgot they play tomorrow . get your own nickname arena, or lakeside or what ever you are calling yourselves now . wel done the bandits . great stuff to stuff the southern softies .
  2. people should not judge riders just because they are missing . we all get ill at some point during the year . on the other hand, richard has elderly grandparents and maybe a this time he is required to be around . so until you know for deffo whats going on , its better to keep quiet instead of speculating .
  3. he is making sarj look like a world class act !
  4. so good results for wucky riders ty and nicko tonight @ poole and sheff .. looks like ty is on a bit of form A.T.M. ANOTHER good night for ty @ redcar .
  5. that is a good signing for workington . always puts on a great show and never give up . welcome to the marras .. a cracking move from the worky management . international star wars day cant come quick enough now .
  6. i wonder who puts the fixture list together ! to be fair tho , we are still going to get the fixtures on regardless and that is what we all pay our money for . i remember Edinburgh hanging on to put the league meeting on against workington one year and when it finally came around , it was past the deadline to qualify for the play off,s and any points that we may have got were not included in the final tally towards the final play offs. .so nothing has changed at all . its still run by people with their own interest(promoters) in mind . but we just have to go with it , dont we ?
  7. so what problems have workington got ? our initial fixture list has a 3 week break . riders are still riding in other leagues. so where is the problem ?
  8. so i take it we will have key riders for workington missing ? lol , never fails to fail .
  9. so i take it leon was avle to ride in the u 21,s semi and no age limit applied . up to 21 of course . doing ok for a young , young yn .
  10. nice to see the sun shine on saturday at the hub in workington . well done to kyle for putting his equipment on show to the shoppers and for his time . hope it was a well attended stall and people went away well informed about speedway in workington . well done to all .
  11. wasnt something like this tried last year or the year before ? . i am sure its been done before .
  12. i think this weekend or the next weekend would have been an ideal start to our season with the Cumberland open . . then we wold only have had 1 week to wait until the next meeting , i think !. during that time the locals would have been chomping at the bit to see some speedway @ wucky. . but thats the way it pans out every year. we still see the same number of meeting , but the gap in between is like Japanese water torture ! ty seems to be going well A.T.M. saving up for a splash out meal @ the cafe . honest . hopfully all will be good again . bring yer cash and spend , spend , spend .
  13. bullshot . its not rallying , or motocross , its freeking speedway man .
  14. aye , a gud neet fur wucky lards t,nieet .
  15. will ty,s paperwork been dropping through the letterbox ?

  17. me too , but if the foods on offer . it should be okay to consume . as you say , we are there for the racing/entertainment . i do hope things turn out in the end and then we can move onto the next talking point .
  18. two people are not going to close it down . the people that will close it down are the people that dont go ! me , i done my bit , rubbish loads of my time and my money . tj , its nice to see you dont complain about anything . price of fuel , bad beer and the price of food these days . still supporting workington speedway .
  19. i take it you dont care what you eat . eat shot and die !
