Are there any speedway teams running on a Saturday afternoon and has there ever been speedway anywhere ? i hope its not a failure running meetings on that day @ 3pm ish . i do know a few regulars that will not be able to attend because of work commitments , but we also dont know how many fans who could not turn up Saturday nights @ Derwent park . i hope the dream comes true for all the people who put the effort into get this up and running works out . perhaps Sundays .

i think you owned up to being a part time supporter at Scunthorpe a while back , didnt you ? also only going to home meetings when the oppo were good teams and when it suited you i am sure your promoter would have liked you to attend more than you did you should be able to answer your own question .

we need ALL the support we can get atm , i think we should forget about hoggy for the moment, unless he wants to help out and try and pull supporters old and new into the arena these guys have built for our entertainment for the good of northside speedway .

scrap the discount and speedway will lose at least 1/2 of its fans at all tracks . why dont promoters just get riders that they can afford and not be held to ransom by big knob riders or are you crying because YOU dont get a discount ? is that another user name you are using ?

just like to say thank you for all the input and posts on this topic . i think now is the time to move on and build up the following on the new venture at Northside in the proper section of the forum . thanks to everyone who has put something on here and long may it continue on the new thread . started it in October 2019 . hope its interesting for you all . so now its over to the new Workington 2023 on the nat league section . keep posting , 2023 i section .. its the close season .
