  1. you've got a good solid middle order rider there. Shame hes not back at lynn .Good luck Tofty and thanks .
  2. shame he didnt race in the uk the season he signed for lynn
  3. kings lynn! good track for holder? maybe 10 years ago but recently , I dont think so
  4. likewise Nick Morris shouldn't get a discount as he rides for Australia
  5. he wasnt in the team at the end of last season and isnt being introduced mid season so the quoted rule is irrelevant .
  6. Apart from anyone signing Bartosz Smarzlik, or possibly Emil ,which I cant see happening , I personally dont think there is another rider out there that would stir up as much interest as Nicki P. Fantastic signing for the Tigers , a real statement of intent and full credit to them for getting him to put pen to paper He is most definitely a rider you want riding for you , not against you and will no doubt kick up a storm on more than one occasion next season Something that has been sadly lacking in british speedway. Welcome back Nicki . At last , a villain to boo !
  7. I would like to see a team built around Robert , Erik, Niels and tofty but expect to see one more like Robert, Lewi, TJ and ty
  8. Got to agree , Trees , that was a decent meeting. We even got some overtaking !Good to see some commitment from riders on both sides.
  9. the idiot with flag changes direction and walks directly into craig cooks path.as a result , an angry( and rightly so ) cook barges aforementioned idiot and no doubt swears at him as well. If he head butted the idiot whilst wearing a helmet , the idiot would have been on his @rse
  10. The trouble is , the track is TOO grippy meaning the person that gets out on front on a fast bike cant be caught unless he makes a mistake, as the track has nothing to give.Ride the fastest line , race over. It's only when the track is prepared slicker(very rare) or left alone to settle and develop racing lines that we see better racing and even then its flat out round the boards to get anywhere. Obviously this is only my opinion, but the track is too grippy with relatively long straights and tighter bends compared to other tracks that produce closer racing with the modern engines Apart from Peterborough which now also seems to be a flat out super fast track. The riders always seem to praise the track as its great to ride , apparently, but it's not great as a spectacle any more
  11. I was there last night .Very poor crowd for a local derby which turned out to be boring . if I hadn't met up with the usual friends I would most probably have left at the interval. No atmosphere , crap track, terrible racing. Good to see Ty back on form though.
  12. As far as I'm aware, Ty still has a higher rolling average then Erik so he could be replaced that way , hopefully leaving enough spare to get a half decent No 7
  13. probably not. My prediction. Kerr 3 S .Lambert 1. maybe.Actually I change my mind .small track .0 points Proctor 4 mpt 4 Tj 5 I sincerely hope they prove me wrong but having been there on our last visit I dont think they will.
  14. 1 good race, heat 15.Up to the interval it was dire. hole on bends 1 and 2 caused problems and bends 3 and 4 cookie especially struggled on. Bomber looked superb and should have ridden at #5 for the witches , putting him in heat 13 which could have won them the match.Far too much tractor racing and far too drawn out
  15. cook for Proctor and keep Andersen, or cook for Proctor and starkey / Ryan douglas for Kerr running r/r until Erik returns would have made for a stronger team
  16. Or just that the new averages dont come in till the 1st june
  17. we can't hear anything in the stand under the refs box. keep asking Nathan and he keeps telling us it's fine
  18. I think we can discount agent Ellis now.
  19. Ellis definitely makes Poole stronger at lynn, he scored a hatfull when he guested a couple of weeks ago .....
