Ipswich V Kings Lynn May 1st

Oh dear. Its going to be a short season for the stars but its going to feel like a long one ... -
Could have booked danny king, instead they book simon Lambert. Cant make this one ,but probably wouldn't have bothered if I could .

Emil Sayfutdinov and Co bring in the crowds?
castrolargh replied to Phil's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He rode kings lynn, I believe it was his first meeting -
Kk's performance tonight was the perfect response to 2 dreadful meetings. That was the kk that Alex Brady hoped we would get,and tonight we did, just as well really as the rest of the team , barring Picko to an extent , looked rusty . Wolves look handy this year, they demolished us at Monmore and ran us close at lynn.Gave belle vue a hiding then bv go and win at ippo, who won at Peterborough, who pushed Leicester at home . Let's hope we see more of this kk, we need to . One swallow doesn't make a summer though

I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him after the way he spat his dummy last time

Talk about ungrateful. If Buster hadn't stepped in,chances are you wouldn't have a club to support any more. The public don't know the reasons why any sale hasn't happened because its none of our business .We can only speculate as to why holders tram place has fallen through, probably because the sale of the club hasn't gone ahead, then you only have to look at his response to see that its just as well with Buster still at the helm. Buster might not be everyone's cup of tea but if you count lynn, Leicester Peterborough, belle vue and rumours of a guarantee in ippo's first season back in the top flight as being helped to a greater or lesser degree by him in the last few seasons, there wouldn't be much of a league

On the flip side, turn up with the right mindset to race and not throw a hissy fit and get shown by your little brother how to ride your home track and your employer may show you a little more respect
-
I guess it would also depend on who's money would be paying him. If its meant to be Buster's I can't imagine he would be overly happy doing that.

Likewise

Likewise, I would have liked to see Puk back at lynn
-
It is indeed correct,he guested for swindon at Leicester and scored about 4 times more than he did for the stars when they rode there just before

You're absolutely right, and that's why I think the scheme should be in the championship, to give younger riders more chance to develop, possibly then making premiership not a British rider on say a sub 6 championship average -

This is why the rising star scheme should be in place in the championship primarily ,to give British youngsters a start there. Maybe the premiership rs should be given the 25pc discount AND it be made compulsory for teams to fill the senior reserve slot with a rising star graduate for say 2 years after "graduation", or until they reach a determined average to allow them more opportunity to develop. After that they ought to be able to stand alone and warrant selection on merit -
He seems a bit flaky on quite a few tracks, but I can't recall him having many bad meetings at lynn .personally I'd prefer PuK
-
Lawson gone to Leicester apparently and the only bachelor I can see being at kl is the cuppa soup variety. The rumour mill also suggests that the rising star scheme has been scrapped which in my opinion is insane
-
Hope he doesn't pick up a stomach bug or something, that would be awful
-
Something like this would be handy. 1 Robert Lambert 2 F.rederick Jacobsen 3 Pickering 4 Puk 5 Lawson 6 Kai Huckenbeck 7 Jack Thomas Whether that fits ...

Or in the case of Lynn/ Peterborough a muppet with 2 coats, one red, one blue to be worn depending on which bandwagon he has jumped on -
Panthers v Tigers 29/08/22
castrolargh replied to scoobydoo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How about bringing in the rev limiters that were supposed to have been introduced, but setting them to 8 or 9000 revs.that would surely see the end of the offset short stroke engines? -
