King's Lynn v Leicester 20/07/23
castrolargh replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think not having that outside line was a blessing to be honest.Usually once the dirt is out wide thats it,flat out round the boards and no other line to use.Whoever gets to the fence first is away and gone. Speaking of fences, Mr Fricke gave Nk a pretty close look at it! I would have put that move on the dirty side of hard racing. -

Hope Rooboy is ok after his "off" at oxford -
This is why the rising star system should have been kept in the championship rather than the Premiership, the step up into the main team wouldn't have been so great
-
Well said Chris,at last someone recognises that although Buster may not be everyone's cup of tea, he has done a lot of good, and tried to do more .Its frustrating as a lynn supporter to see us struggle so badly, but the man has right royally been dumped in the rubbish this season and still kept the club running

King's Lynn Vs Sheffield 06.07.23

Won't be wasting my money on this one.I can only see a mauling from the tigers what with lewi, turncoat pickering, Holder and Museilac only being bothered by Artem and possibly Klindt. I hope I'm proven wrong but I can't see it somehow. I'll save my £25 for monday -
There is a lot of truth in your last paragraph. I've had this conversation with my mate, and if one of us doesn't go, the other probably won't unless we know there is going to be another of our dwindling group going. Little niggles, like tractor racing, not being able to hear the tannoy after being fobbed off for literally years , consistently making the track inconsistent for the first few heats, seeing the same away team 2 weeks on the trot, getting thrashed home and away, all these and more are sucking the fun out of going,to the point where I am starting to pick snd choose and I've been going to speedway since the early 70's.
-
Well that was embarrassing
-
Its Harsh on Jason Edwards but he has really struggled at home this season .hopefully we'll see him again as a Star. Jury's out on Simon Lambert as far as I'm concerned, he's having a good season but the tail now looks a bit long
-
If the rumour about being offered reduced rates at lynn are true ,who can blame him? Gutted
-
I would. Pretty much the first thing he said after Alex quit was " the team is over budget"
-
Umm, perhaps its because Alex Brady has stepped down completely, Dale Allitt is / was in hospital. When Buster was quoted as being promoter in name only, he was. Facts straight. Get Them
-
But MT wouldn't pay the asking price ,why should a vendor sell something at less than he values it?
-
Agreed, but 2 consecutive home meetings against the same team? Very poor in my opinion
-
So the powers that be decided its a great idea to have 2 matches against the same team, and local derbies at that, within 2 weeks of each other .Great

There was a good crowd last night, many turning out to see laguta no doubt. How many of those extra will come back next week after the teams dire performance is anyones guess. -
If the new signing IS Artem Laguna let's just hope he has a better attitude than the last former individual world champion they signed
-
Course it is. Buster has only just told himself his fence got bent on Monday At his track. In his stadium.coincidentally picko is still unfit and Klindt is riding in Poland
-
Obviously there are no engineering firms in kings lynn with the ability to straighten out/ replace some bent steelwork.what a crock of rubbish

Oh dear. Its going to be a short season for the stars but its going to feel like a long one ... -
Could have booked danny king, instead they book simon Lambert. Cant make this one ,but probably wouldn't have bothered if I could .

Emil Sayfutdinov and Co bring in the crowds?

He rode kings lynn, I believe it was his first meeting -
Kk's performance tonight was the perfect response to 2 dreadful meetings. That was the kk that Alex Brady hoped we would get,and tonight we did, just as well really as the rest of the team , barring Picko to an extent , looked rusty . Wolves look handy this year, they demolished us at Monmore and ran us close at lynn.Gave belle vue a hiding then bv go and win at ippo, who won at Peterborough, who pushed Leicester at home . Let's hope we see more of this kk, we need to . One swallow doesn't make a summer though
