  1. Add to the fact if Buster signed a new rider for the Panthers, any potential new owner probably wouldn't want to pay for their contract anyway !
  2. You could well be right, but for what its worth i think the racing was as close or closer than most meetings and so was the result .Lamberts first 4 races he didn't ride very well and went too wide letting others pass, but Anders Rowe looked sharp early on and Kye Thompson looked more on the pace as well. The biggest let down in my opinion wasn't the track it was Thomas Jorgensen, and his score was probably the biggest single contributing factor to us losing last night, that and NK nearly being fenced, but I won't go on about that
  3. Yes he did.You could see him lining his victim up half a lap before. He is one rider I would have loved to see do a season as a star.
  4. I think not having that outside line was a blessing to be honest.Usually once the dirt is out wide thats it,flat out round the boards and no other line to use.Whoever gets to the fence first is away and gone. Speaking of fences, Mr Fricke gave Nk a pretty close look at it! I would have put that move on the dirty side of hard racing.
  5. This is why the rising star system should have been kept in the championship rather than the Premiership, the step up into the main team wouldn't have been so great
  6. Well said Chris,at last someone recognises that although Buster may not be everyone's cup of tea, he has done a lot of good, and tried to do more .Its frustrating as a lynn supporter to see us struggle so badly, but the man has right royally been dumped in the rubbish this season and still kept the club running
  7. Won't be wasting my money on this one.I can only see a mauling from the tigers what with lewi, turncoat pickering, Holder and Museilac only being bothered by Artem and possibly Klindt. I hope I'm proven wrong but I can't see it somehow. I'll save my ÂŁ25 for monday
  8. There is a lot of truth in your last paragraph. I've had this conversation with my mate, and if one of us doesn't go, the other probably won't unless we know there is going to be another of our dwindling group going. Little niggles, like tractor racing, not being able to hear the tannoy after being fobbed off for literally years , consistently making the track inconsistent for the first few heats, seeing the same away team 2 weeks on the trot, getting thrashed home and away, all these and more are sucking the fun out of going,to the point where I am starting to pick snd choose and I've been going to speedway since the early 70's.
  9. Its Harsh on Jason Edwards but he has really struggled at home this season .hopefully we'll see him again as a Star. Jury's out on Simon Lambert as far as I'm concerned, he's having a good season but the tail now looks a bit long
  10. Longterm I think the latter needs to be the answer. Bring on the youngsters with the Bombers, Danny King, Charles Wright type of British rider as the" top"stars .Basically start from the bottom up.You can't put a roof on a house if there's no walls, you can't build walls without a foundation.
  11. If the rumour about being offered reduced rates at lynn are true ,who can blame him? Gutted
  12. I would. Pretty much the first thing he said after Alex quit was " the team is over budget"
  13. Umm, perhaps its because Alex Brady has stepped down completely, Dale Allitt is / was in hospital. When Buster was quoted as being promoter in name only, he was. Facts straight. Get Them
  14. But MT wouldn't pay the asking price ,why should a vendor sell something at less than he values it?
  15. Agreed, but 2 consecutive home meetings against the same team? Very poor in my opinion
  16. So the powers that be decided its a great idea to have 2 matches against the same team, and local derbies at that, within 2 weeks of each other .Great
  17. There was a good crowd last night, many turning out to see laguta no doubt. How many of those extra will come back next week after the teams dire performance is anyones guess.
  18. If the new signing IS Artem Laguna let's just hope he has a better attitude than the last former individual world champion they signed
  19. Then again,Richard Lawson finished top of the kings lynn averages last year and rides the track very well.A good choice I think
  20. Call it off after heat 10, simples. Sun caused a delay which meant the tide came in and the tractor sank in the resulting marsh. You read it here first..
  21. Course it is. Buster has only just told himself his fence got bent on Monday At his track. In his stadium.coincidentally picko is still unfit and Klindt is riding in Poland
