  1. that all depends on what sort of track buster prepares. If it's another super grippy track, then no, Niels will struggle as he did in the first meeting last night. If Buster prepares a slicker track we will see Niels in full flight AND better , closer racing.
  2. Trees ,we get exactly the same problem in the stand behind the starting gate! we have all asked Nathan for more than 2years to.please sort it out and last night he stood in front of the speaker and said " it's working" only for all around us to tell him we couldn't hear it!. He walked away. good result tonight a d it showed yet again how much better the racing is on a slicker track
  3. watching the stars ride against the same team at home twice consecutively is bad enough, but twice in one evening isn't exactly inspiring. double headers against 2 teams is one thing, and there is always the option of a "spare" rider for the 2nd meeting if anything should happen, rather than dragging a national league rider out of the crowd and Phoning his dad to bring his bike over! From a fans point of view there would be more interest if wolves could come back for a double a couple of weeks later .
  4. I beg to differ, Sam has been fairly quiet on recent visits to lynn, and Thomas ' home form has really picked up in recent weeks . Away from home , a totally different case
  5. looking at the teams side by side I think the stars should be able to send the wolves home empty handed. Lambert v Schlein; Lambert Riss v Howarth; Riss Proctor v JBA; Proctor TJ v Masters ; TJ Puk v Thorsell; Pin MPT v Morris ; MPT Lambert S v Sarj; depends who gates
  6. you're right I got the name wrong in heat 1, but It doesn't change my view of the result from where I stood, but it's only my opinion
  7. we were standing approx 15m behind the tapes (I know this as when someone goes off 15m they are level with us , and yes max fricke definitely had more speed than Eric Riss, and yes if the finish line was 10m or maybe even 5 m further on he would have nicked it , but I'm not convinced he beat riss, in fact our group were a bit surprised when the man on the Mic called it as a 5-1. same in heat 15. my opinion from where I was standing.
  8. no thanks. we only got half a season out of him last year and he rode all year! please not Nic Porsing either. If only he could bring his polish form over here ..
  9. there is a10.30 curfew anyway so a bit wide of the mark there. I was there too and yes it's frustrating having to wait but no one could have known the delay would be so long , or that there would be another crash. I wouldn't have thought the home promoter could postpone anyway, surely that decision is down to the ref? Get well soon boys .
  10. Whatever Niels does will be wrong in some people's eyes. If he rode tonight there would be some saying he should ride on Tuesday in Sweden and Wednesday at kings lynn .If he has to have treatment then he has to have treatment. end of. Racing speedway is his livelihood and so with that in mind I'm pretty sure he will take time out when it has the least impact.
  11. he was one or two meetings from automatically becoming a STARS asset then Peterborough signed him if I recall correctly
  12. only an early season challenge match if that counts
  13. No thanks.Far too inconsistent and has reached his level
  14. sounds to me like he was told he could leave but would be a full transfer as he was part of the planned team and he didnt want to risk no one offering to buy his contract.. bit like Matt Ford telling holder he could leave if someone paid for him.
  15. depends which Kai turns up. If it's last night's then Josh please .
  16. Why in the name of all that is holy are we going to belle vue with r/r for our only heat leader and Simon (couldn't buy a point) Lambert at reserve? Might just as well prepare for championship speedway next year.
  17. Well said Danny and well done Buster in getting rid if the pair of whingers. I notice batchelor is mocking our new no1 on Twitter.dont know if he is having a dig at Michael palm toft, I hope not as he outscored the brat 13Points to 4 at Leicester! Roll on the rest of the season. We could still make the play offs but if we don't it wont be down to lack of effort so welcome thj, mpt and Josh auty! .BRING IT ON
  18. poty Sanchez was always good in poor conditions
  19. Should have drawn a robin on his race suit. Seems to work normally.
  20. Funny old game hey, 10 points one week riding at no1 as a guest then 4 points a week later riding for your own team !
  21. Oh dear. One heat leader and it's batchelor. Its going to be a long night .
