  1. Still it's nice to have 2 riders with Max in 2 weeks! Been some time....
  2. I find it a bit amusing that early season there were some muttering team changes re Ellis, Heaps, Worral and even Tungate! Look at the solid team they have gelled into. Ironically P'boro decided 3 changes needed & since then have done worse! Interesting.
  3. Hope Rohan does not get the "Number 1 Jacket Hoodoo".
  4. And yet he rode AGAIN tonight for Poo!! But then Middlo probably thinks he has done nothing wrong....
  5. A decent choice ,can & will score consistently points.
  6. Good luck to Jo here, sadly he has not (so far) made as much progress this season as I had hoped. Perhaps this just might just give him that extra jolt needed.
  7. Its a strange sport...I, sadly many years ago went ,as a teen & loved it, then came the usual diversions of Music, Sex. Drugs, Rock & Roll, Uni,Work etc., though I would still, look for the Star but never attend, then it's " Take the Kids" time"...&, until "that age" went regularly & enjoyed (until that time when boredom & the awareness of poor races takes over from excitement). Then, post kids, interest, as it It's great sport but now, after enough matches to weaken that initial fun (+ the realisation that NOTHING has changed in the time missed) makes me more of a "Keyboard follower" Great sport .. but NO progress or promotion (e,g. Why does no-one have their (antique) tractors painted in team colours? A tiny thing but it just might show a edge of professionalism that is missing). Rant over.
  8. At least Tigers put up a decent fight (as opposed to Rye v Worky!)
  9. Mind you, apart from Edin (GRR) All the other teams have been pretty inconsistent this season not just Ipswich.
  10. Risager was poor altogether, his win was against reserves, which, as a heat leader he should.. otherwise very disappointing. As was the whole team. Gino, after his first tapes blooper took a bit of time to suss the track out, then looked fiery & good. However, agree about the very odd choice of Gino as T/R! Why not wait until after Ritchie's T/R as Heat 10 was Glasgow's strongest pairing. Ellis was unfortunate as he did look good up to then & might have improved scoreline. Otherwise the rest, maybe tired? Or just all off form. Poor.
  11. Worral chosen again for Heat 15 Gino (or even Hawkins!) might have been a better choice
  12. He may be named, but does he have visa yet? If not, he has not yet ridden for Sheff, so no R/R but NL replacement? It should be..but...
  13. Newcastle themselves are a bit in the doldrums at the moment so this should be a good chance for Witches to grab some confidence & winning ways back!
  14. However a poor showing by Rohan here, just hope it's a "blip". Heeps still struggling sadly...
  15. For the reserve spot...why not go for Joe Jacobs again?
  16. Just hope Gino is as good as his promise.....Hope so!
  17. Having spoken to Joe recently I know he is very keen to race in PL next season, hope he does get signed up. He will do a good job for any team.
  18. If nothing else (I ignore all projection) Welcome Ritchie!!
  19. At least the "real" Witches acquited themselves reasonably well...pity about the guests though. Ah weel at least for a bit we were top.... A sad injury covered ending to season....
  20. Been out all night only to find a horrible night for Witches. 2 heat leaders injured, Hope both Ben & Leigh not too badly injured. Luck has deserted the team...
  21. 12 point lead with Barker not scoring much; thus if he scores well at Newcy 12 points should be enough! Hope so!
