I think it is pretty unanimous that we dont see any improvement at the present time in these lads,,We certainly seem to have drawn the short straw in Rookies this season

Lots of meetings for the Raiders in July,if we are going to see any improvement in these Rookies regular meetings that to a point should sort out who has potential and who does not,,.

Have to agree with everyone that the side must be strengthened.,Raiders fans will just fade away,without a side that has some chance of winning at least at home

Soul destroying for our top three,To ride so consistantly well meeting after meeting with little or no back up from riders who are just not good enough at this stage,, I see little improvement in any of them ,though Hunter may come good eventually ,,Time for a change starting with Bowdery...

Even allowing for injuries Eastbourne should take this .. Raiders top three will get little or no support from the long tail,, weather looks ok

Robert Lambert is a huge english talent we should always encourage our talented riders after all there are not to many at present on saturdays performance at Rye my only concern would be that his gating is not top drawer and needs to improve to become world class,,

Kent are thrashing most sides this season,but if your fans do not turn up you will just lose your speedway altogether.

Though ref Cris Gay did his best to ruin an otherwise exciting match, by as usual holding the tapes to long causeing countless re runs ,,Up to heat 13 Rockets had only 3 heat winners ,Ed twice and Ben in heat two, which suggested the Diamonds were the more likely winners,,,Then Ed wins heat 13 and then Leigh Lanham rides the best race of his season followed home for a 5-1 by Kasper who had another brilliant night in fact with Ben the reserves scored 16 points to the Diamonds reserves 3 And with Ed winning heat 15 the Rockets ran out winners 48-42 Lambert ,,Worrall and Kus were all highly competitive for the Diamonds,,Another great advert for speedway at Rye House...e

Thunderstorm here in south essex flooding every where you could not run a speedway meeting here, time ten past four ,whats it like near the track ??

Personally will prefer to watch the high lights of the football at 10-35 pm on BBC 1,,, Speedway is more important to me...

Rockets must make the best use of their present extra strenght in having rider replacement for Karger ..Cant wait to see another exciting meeting , Featuring the best rider from the back in the league our flying Dane Kasper...I think realistically this will go to the wire...

Even minor problems that sometimes take time to find out,like sprockets one tooth can make a difference,,clutch plates ,old or new,,,jetting ,,wheel base length,,,timing all can effect a riders performance according to track conditions,, so dont always blame the rider...

Without new teams and why would they anyway i see it going soon..One big Premier with north and south sections would be the way to go financially

Funny old post from Thrillpool if saturday nights racing did not get someone hooked then what the f--- will ..Maybe he should try Ipswich were the racing is c--p,, but never mind, he may be attracted to the announcer or the music at the start,,or even queuing to get in ,they open the gates really late there im shore he would enjoy standing out side for half an hour,, to soak up the atmosphere

7 points from Kargers rides against Berwick ,suggests we would have lost the meeting if he had been fit ,,shows where our main weakness lies

WOW ! Best meeting ive seen in two or three seasons,.Any one who knocks the Rye House track was not at this meeting,,,Kasper Lykke is fast becoming the most entertaining rider in this league..Fantastic performances all from the back...Berwick certainly have some slik gaters in the side and rode the track well,Gate 4 was again worth 2 or 3 bike lenghts round the first bend,,While gate 1 is becoming a graveyard thats my only critisism and that needs sorting,,,I think Kasper aside the rest of the boys have all had stronger meetings, but that takes nothing away from the match which was a humdinger 45-45 Seemed a fitting score for this..but both sides could look at reasons for not actually winning it..Personally i loved it...

Bowen at reserve probably strengthens Berwick slightly with his local experience of Rye,,,With Lanhams fitness an unknown factor this could go down to the wire

Weather warming up tomorrow but with a chance of showers . Should be ok unless we are really unlucky ..Lanham should be returning hope it is not to soon .According to reports..Kargers injury ,broken bone in his hand may take two or three weeks ...
