The point is Kent had much better options for sure , Chose not to use the available riders one of whom i know was keen to ride,, Ben or Rob,,,and it has cost them dear..I predicted this scenario before the meeting started...

I am sure Rob and Ben are always looking for guest bookings if they are not riding for Rye

Could depend on which Dan Greenwood turns up the track record breaker ,( track must have been flying that night). ,or the inconsistant rider that he is on occasions ,,Does seem to like the Kent track though,..,My guess is there were more consistent riders available....

Hopefully Rob may get a chance soon ,,the fans want it ,,but will the management want to use the full quota of points that would be available to them ,,I am sure an opportunity will come shortly somewhere....

Thanks for that lads ,so basically Kasper goes back to the main body of the team after the next 0fficial figurs as of the latest hes 4.95 for 1st july,,, probably with Kargers return in a week or two he may still be in the main body till then.. Shads, under stats .... .

Can someone tell me why the Rye website has the rolling averages higher than those on the BSPA site...is Kasper now over 5 or still just under i find the difference confusing,??

I think it is pretty unanimous that we dont see any improvement at the present time in these lads,,We certainly seem to have drawn the short straw in Rookies this season

Lots of meetings for the Raiders in July,if we are going to see any improvement in these Rookies regular meetings that to a point should sort out who has potential and who does not,,.

Robert Lambert is a huge english talent we should always encourage our talented riders after all there are not to many at present on saturdays performance at Rye my only concern would be that his gating is not top drawer and needs to improve to become world class,,

Kent are thrashing most sides this season,but if your fans do not turn up you will just lose your speedway altogether.

Though ref Cris Gay did his best to ruin an otherwise exciting match, by as usual holding the tapes to long causeing countless re runs ,,Up to heat 13 Rockets had only 3 heat winners ,Ed twice and Ben in heat two, which suggested the Diamonds were the more likely winners,,,Then Ed wins heat 13 and then Leigh Lanham rides the best race of his season followed home for a 5-1 by Kasper who had another brilliant night in fact with Ben the reserves scored 16 points to the Diamonds reserves 3 And with Ed winning heat 15 the Rockets ran out winners 48-42 Lambert ,,Worrall and Kus were all highly competitive for the Diamonds,,Another great advert for speedway at Rye House...e
