It makes you wonder why two clubs this close together run on the same day..Both likely to lose customers..But for me Kent is such a poor racing track ( only one line ),,,given the choice i would always pick Rye House..Though both tracks could do with some more dirt to improve the racing,,,,

Glad to hear the track was in good shape after a stock car meeting on saturday..May be they are learning.... Agree about the fish and chips,, if only they were that standard at Rye i would have them every week........

Good effort from the Raiders and an excellent performance from Connor Locke..I hope Ben Morley has not blown another engine..??..It is looking positive for the team on Monday against Buxton

Oh dear the dreaded stock cars the curse of all speedway tracks ,lets hope the track is in a safe condition ..puts me off attending Mildenhall..

With the return of Hunter and retaining Woods i would expect the Raiders to actually win this one,,,Branford ,,Morley and Priest should have a field day .If the preceeding Rockets match does not take to much out of Rob and Ben,,.Lets hope the meeting runs slicker than the last double header here,,Drawn out affairs are a big turn off for the fans..Weather forecast is good..Wishing all the riders a good safe meeting.....

Did you see how many points Liam Carr scored for Berwick last night a repeat of that and we might not even win..

That is good that Hunter can return without losing Woods ,, Lets hope he can remain free of further injuries which have dramatically slowed his progress this season,Leek may be a bit slow ..but does not fall off as much as Locke who gives it a go..It is a toss up who would pick up the most gift points,,Saul is only marginally,better,,So its down to the Manager...

I believe Hughie Saunders ex Rayleigh ,Hackney, in the seventies, and Rye House team manager early eighties ,,held the track record there at one time..

We can all hazard guesses as to why Kennet was not there. ..I am as unimpressed as any one about it..But i recon we will never know the actual reason why he was not there,..Outright condemnation really has to be proved ?? ....

Hope i did not offend you with my joke about saving a few quid Shads ..I think also that Barraiders personal attack on you was disgusting..I do not know why the mods do not remove such posts ,,and as i said in my match report Locks 5-1 with Woods was gifted by Parkinson Blackburns puncture when leading by a mile... And was the only race that Locke did not fall off..Hero...

You did not miss much Shads and saved a few quid to treat the misses no doubt ?

Branford and Morley were a cut above in this match that was going Coventry,s way until the last 3 heats with 5-1,s from Ben and Rob in heat 13,,;;then a fortunate 5-1 from Woods and Lock who at least managed to stay upright this time... after Parkinson Blackburn sustained a puncture in the lead ... so a bit of overdue luck for the Raiders....Ben flew from the gate in heat fifteen and waited for Rob,,they then switched lines ,.and team rode home for what had looked an unlikely team victory early on .....Hunter had a spin after and could be back for the next match...So one of Locke ,,Leek or Saul could be out...Crowd was reasonable considering the time of the meeting, .dodgy weather,, and Lakeside running this evening where Rob Branford is riding for Coventry as a guest,,, ive heard at No 1 ?,,,good luck with that one Rob ..Racing was about what you would expect a bit processional on a slik track...

There.is little doubt Rye would have won with Kennet,Very poor choice of guest ,and you have to ask why Kennet was not there when his match was called off at 11-30am?.Who,s decision was that ?..good team performance that deserved better..

We are doing well at the moment,but will Kennet not being there cost us in the end?

While not the strongest team in the league ,I.O.W home track advantage could be the telling factor ,, All though from what i have seen i would expect Locke to be more effective on a big track,,good luck to all the lads tonight..

I have spoken to riders that have taken part in the six man team trial matches and they recon it is a rubbish format...

I am all in favour of two british reserves at least one from the National and the other under 5 average ,We most do everything possible to bring on the british boys.. agree with Ben 91 if one moves up in to the 1-5 ,great this is what we hope they will do,,and replace at res with another brit...

Personally i think divide the National league riders average by 50% and fit them in to the Premier league at reserve within the points limit..It is about right on most national league riders at present in that league and is so simple to do...At least one per team and foreign riders on at least a 5 point average if at reserve....

Well you live down that way Richard so you would know,,But that is how Eastbourne is perceived across the rest of the country.. The Dugards are certainly doing a good job with the speedway...
