Meeting abandoned riders objecting to ice on the track ,,very original but then it was predictable..

They will be hard pushed to complete the league match .but who cares pointless meeting and it could be a case of after you a gentle manly occasion...nudge nudge ,,wink wink,,,?

Hopefully Lakeside can get it together tonight and give Worky a run for their money in the main match after all these riders need to earn some dosh from this long distance marathon....and recover the pride in actually being a very good team....Hope it's a good safe final meeting for all the riders.......And hopefully both sides can come to the tapes at the start of next season.......

The happenings of the last few weeks were not the fault of the promotion but have obviously proved costly to them? ..I would have thought that now serious consideration will take place regarding next season .We the fans have to hope the club wil continue and be supported where ever they end up riding......

On tonight's performance Workington deserve to win it..Obviously I am very disappointed..but hey we have had a brilliant team to support all season

Our top 3 are the best in the league but to get a result tonight the rest of the side really need to pull out all the stops ...What is the weather like up there.?. Less than 15 heats are unlikely to help us , as heats 13 and 15 are our strength,,,,Hopefully a good safe meeting,, and a true result with the best team being crowned champions........

Those currently at the top of the BSPA must be removed at the AGM They have presided over the worst unorganised season in living memory..More of the same next season could put the final nail in the coffin of british speedway.....

Hoping the showers are few and light and that all the riders stay safe..I think we all want a result that is fair to both sides and some good racing on what will undoubtably be a very cold night..wrap up warm..........

Give the league winners a trophy and class the play offs as a seperate competition for the best 4 teams in the league..but for gods sake get it all completed by the end of September......

Saturday is a final on Rye,s traditional race night it is going to be very cold but lets see how this one goes before deciding on the viability of running there next season......

Have to agree big cat i dont miss normally but am considering not going ,,what with the weekday traffic trying to get there ,,and a feeling the lights may go out again or some other catastrophy in the stadium..poor racing there,,,, ,meeting draggin on ..... the cold.. ..It just does not seem worth the effort......

Dont know that objecting to Ostergard is a good idea ..Peterborough could end up with a guest that is better than him..?

The good thing about this not wanted re run at which a very low turnout can be expected is that if Peterborough have the same line up it should be a great pay day for the Lakeside riders.......Oh i forgot the Panthers will have changed set ups and will be flying......

Massive changes my foot they have raced there already nearly as much as Lakeside ..what lies they will tell to try to justify being put through....

Tonight was another nail in the speedway coffin .not I might add down to the Lakeside promotion but a shambles of people in charge of Rye House stadiums total incompitents....Now will Lakeside still chance running here next season that is the big question..?.
