Somerset are the best 1-6 in the PL IMO and we'll enjoy seeing them nonetheless. -

Not seen gamesmanship like that for many years. Funny how Harkess couldnt be located in the pits when a replacement had to be nominated for Riss. MacGregor was wise to it thankfully. Just shows the self appointed moral high ground they proclaim are just the same as everybody else and will attempt to manipulate situations when circumstances require it. -

A definite chink in his armour. There is no point gesturing to the referee from the track, as if he's expected to interpret what it is, get back to the pits and get the TM to communicate on your behalf. Extending his middle finger to the crowd, superb, confirmed he was rattled and all of his own doing. -

Probably best that was called at ht14, Masters temper was starting to get the better of him. The 0131 were desperately trying to stem the tide throughout the meeting but 2 race wins and no heat advantages added to no TR facility made it very one sided. Monarchs attempts to delay the meeting at the start of ht12 backfired as MacGregor got their measure and excluded Riss E when Clegg should have gone having been a full bike length back from the tapes long after the 2 mins expired and refusing to move forward. Lunna was immense on his return and Luke Chessell looks like he could have got himself a PL place for the next month. Hopefully GLA are through to the next round but you just never know at Arma. -

I dont detect on this thread that it is anti Edinburgh more frustration with the inconsistent lack of application of the rules. If Davey isnt eligible to ride for GLA tomorrow then fine but an official statement from the powers that be as to why and what rule prevents it would quash most of the discussion here but thats not going to happen for reasons that have been long debated. -
A point is better than nothing. Looks like Bewley scored Payne's monthly average in one meeting.

Concussion for Danny Ayres who will now miss Redcar tomorrow and the 0131 at home on Sunday. -

Four big away points banked by the money men. Hopefully more of the same tomorrow at Redcar. -

Thats a fair point, Glasgow should be able to take advantage if Stachyra takes time to find his feet. We need to avoid last places especially our reserves which is easier said than done. A good meeting in prospect. -

Breaking the party line there TS. You're supposed to hate the Berwick track and run it down at every opportunity. Wonder if the Peterborough fans will also take it up? -
Riders who suffer serious injuries such as a broken thigh in Bjerre's case often have a poor year the season they return but pick up the season after. A good example is Josh Grajczonek who similarly broke his thigh in 2011 with Glasgow and was pretty average in 2012 when he returned. Despite wanting to move track for the 2012 season there were no takers. Bjerre could prove to be in demand in 2017, or not depending on if Havelock holds his registration. Definitely not a No1 though even at the height of his game.

The track staff will have been in since Glasgow declared their team, working tirelessly through the night to make it not just rideable but raceable. Campbell will be pi55ing himself in expectation. -

They usually wait and see who the guest rider is first! -
Strengthens the 0131?

Tough to find guests for Worrall and Lunna with so many matches on elsewhere. -
Hard to disagree though there is a bit of time to turn it around if we can on the road, no point peaking in July. I reckon GLA need a minimum of 45 points to make it into the play offs. Lunna is due back soon and needs to be our trump card at reserve. He's struggled at No2 since the start of the season though Garcia will now take up that mantle.

It is only Bach's third meeting for Glasgow though his points should be a surprise to no one. What he does have over Barker is being well prepared and has decent machinery. Shame he doesnt have the never say die attitude of BB though. If only our marketing were as good as the team! I believe he sold them to someone on your side of the fence!

First rain off for the season for us. The forecast for today isnt that bad but there isnt enough heat in the atmosphere with todays temp set to be 11 degrees to dry the place out. We had some days in December that was warmer than that! We are at Scunthorpe next Sunday so may need to revert to a weekday for a restaging.

Im sure we could do a deal! Decent meeting last night, was pleasant being on the fourth bend, more carnival atmosphere than that of the playoff meet last October. Looks a good bit of positive PR having just watched it back on tv. Another big weekend with Worky away and Sheffield home. -
