It is now up to the other guys to show us their mettle: can Dave Norris keep the form up? will Danny Bird and Chris Neath still be worldbeating in a few months time? can Bomber and David Howe pick up the pieces? Can Joe Screen nick Jason Crump's 'mechanic' and tuner? will Dean Barker's form improve once he has a break from Jordan's cleavage? Will Gary Havelock, Chris Louis and Sir Kelvin be staking a claim? time will tell...... when is middlo picking the squad?

ok can anyone tell me why David Norris is a good candidate? What is the advantage of giving him a spot? In my mind there are only two candidates based on current form and with an eye on the future - Danny Bird and Chris Neath

Asked the gf months ago if she wanted to go for a weekend in Prague - it was only when I came up with some specific dates that she started getting suspicious but by that time it was too late - she'd already said yes! So we've got all of the weekend sorted except for where we are ending up after the meeting - is there anywhere where everyone's going? Anyone else in the first bend stand?

I cant believe that BSI have been infected with the disease that has affected speedway for so long: A) The format for the world final SHOULD NOT BE CHANGED! - why is there a need to change things around every season or two?! IMO the GP's work - if it was a case that the BSPA put pressure on BSI then they should have held firm - I dont know what the viewing figures are for SKY but if they are good enough why dramatically reduce what has become the flagship of our sport? B ) In terms of qualification - not only as others have mentioned it will make a mockery of our sport - and also take away the romance of the event - how many football fans are secretly pleased that Millwall made it through to the FA cup final and will be supporting them on final day?

I think I missed all 3! oh well!

Great one to finish on - although a little disappointed by the lack of passing on lap 3 It has been a pleasure Grachan - you've kept me going through the close season!

well the first two I would like would be Loram and Gollob but its not going to happen on the man made tracks - if only every track was bydgoszsz so therefore the usual suspects Rickardsson, Crump, Adams, Pedersen but I have a feeling for Nicholls and Sullivan this season - especially sullivan as he will be more fresh than the rest

hi steve I can answer yes to 3 and 4 2 im learning with - setup dr divx last week and have had a couple of unsuccessful trial runs - so any tips would be helpful 1 you have lost me - I guess you mean do I have the setup to grab images from a vcr and that im not sure about but luckily I work in an IT department so im sure something could be worked out more importantly I understand your plight and how frustrating it must be and am willing to lend a hand if you could give me some tips for dr divx - cant have you missing scott nicholls glorious 2004 my email is matt.beaton@barhale.co.uk

very helpful Rico - thanks Ive dropped ideas of getting trains from Berlin etc after seeing BA prices (is £136 return decent?) to Warsaw and the amount of time it takes to chuffer to get there! - ive sent a request for info from the city hotel but have drawn a big blank in general on trying to book a room in the two hotels online I think Bydgoszsz is more of a goer than krsko (unless I end up doing both!) as im finding out very little info for the slovenian trip and connections + it has to be the best track in the GP's. The bit im missing in the arrangements is the train between warsaw and bydgoszsz - so im gonna check out that site you posted now

Looks like SGP have removed the very helpful links for travel arrangements from their site. I'm looking to plan a trip or two this year but have no idea of the best ways to travel. Can anyone give tips on how they travelled? In particular im looking at Krsko and Bydgoscz
