  1. I don't think we need them either. Any members that are just plain annoying usually get singled out ~ no names, no pack drill. We're all adults so can surely be trusted to moderate ourselves without someone being in charge.
  2. There will be some on here who will believe every word. I think I'll put off going to bed for a bit. Alright folks, looking for some help, Ryan fishers testimonial is about a month away and me and Ryan are looking for some help with a ticket to get me to England. Every donation gets a piece of the fishes testimonial. Meaning I'll bring something back for you. We are looking for 1000 bucks if any one can help. Not setting up a go find me. Just looking for friends and sponsors to chip in. Thanks a lot Billy and Ryan Daelyn Fisher Woods I thought I'd let Robert72 know about this as I'm sure he'd like to send a few dollars.
  3. 2004 immediately springs to mind when both the Bees and the Cougars finished bottom of their respective leagues. No sign of Mick Horton then because Avtar Sandhu was promoter that year and strangely enough even though they kept losing I wasn't that bothered and still enjoyed the racing. There is just a handful of people on here who continually moan about everything even though they don't go. Probably part of their mid-life crisis. Bless.
  4. I happened to be looking in the pits when the riders were getting on the truck before the Somerset match and wondered who the lad was with the pink hat on because he didn't look strong enough to hold a bike up let alone race one. Turned out to be Michael Palm Toft so thanks but no thanks. He seemed to be pretty good last year but is struggling this season so far.
  5. Coventry are definitely going to need that on Monday as it looks like being the worse ever attendance for a Bees match. Probably the Poole v Wolves match (May 4th) would have been the best bet. We'll soon find out.
  6. Very impressed with Sedgmen. Has he got a Premier League team as well or just riding for Swindon?
  7. Don't think we have any these days do we? Not a bad thing either as I should think they get sick of continually receiving messages from annoying people. (Not referring to you of course or Barrow Boy.) Anyway, I'll try to help by getting in touch with the boss on Facebook now the Bank Holiday is over.
  8. Already? The season has only just started so what's he going to be like in a few months time? I can't see him being around come play off time.
  9. If we're stuck with what we have this season and keep losing I don't think he need worry too much about next year because there won't be many fans left anyway. Looks like it's the beginning of the end and he's given up already.
  10. Yes it was very impressive. I wonder what he did to his bike after his first two pointless rides ~ whatever it was it worked.
  11. So at least 24 then? Okay fair enough. Perhaps I'm fortunate enough to know the more wealthy OAP's who can manage the extra £3 once a fortnight.
  12. Probably, but I don't think we need to worry too much about that as the only way 5000 Speedway fans would be in the stadium these days would be if the GP ever returned. I was just pointing out the space available all the way round the stadium whereas Monmore Green only uses the home straight so it's hard to judge. Perhaps because it still wouldn't work and the riders would have to come up with a different excuse not to ride here? You keep saying that but how many OAP's, apart from yourself, do you truthfully know have stopped going? All the ones I've got to know over the years are still attending.
  13. Interesting you say that as I'm wondering how you can compare the two? One a stadium that can hold over 12,000 spread out all around the track and the other where everyone is squashed in together on the home straight. I'm thinking 500 at Wolverhampton would look a big crowd but I'm obviously wrong so how did you work it out?
  14. I think it was more than a thought as you put it. Perhaps Matt decided to string us along for a bit and then drop the bombshell. He's a little devil isn't he?
  15. Hope it's called off early then to stop the Swindon fans travelling.
  16. I think he's already said that in the Speedway Star.
  17. All on my own on the 3rd bend in this weather? Have a heart. I usually find someone to sit with and annoy on the back straight for the Storm matches.
  18. To be correct there is not £5 off admission on Monday ~ it will be £10 to get in on May 9th with the Storm ticket. He was replying to my post and I understood it perfectly, as you did as well but decided to be awkward as usual. Yes. I've got my knickers in a twist but I won't from now on because you're going on 'Ignore' so I don't get banned. Did you count me and Lucy twice because we were on the back straight not 3/4?
  19. Yes, that was the plan when Daniel Davidsson left Coventry because he was rubbish and signed for Poole who were going to make him feel loved and get the best out of him. Wonder what happened?
  20. Gustix likes your post so that says it all. Personally I find it damn irritating that any past Speedway fan can take delight in knowing there was a small attendance but there you go. Just shows what the person is like. I was there as usual and find it really sad that more people don't attend the Storm matches but that seems to be the trend unfortunately if a team is also in the Elite League. I wouldn't be able to confirm if 50 is right or not because I don't know how many were up in the bar ~ quite a lot if they had any sense because it was yet another cold night with the threat of rain again. No, work it out. It's quite easy as even I can do it.
