  1. Is there any other rider who has made so many changes to his machines/pit crew over the years than Bomber because I can't think of anyone but am happy to be corrected.
  2. Yes, I did. Just in an awkward mood because it's the last day of my holiday. One would be enough if tai and the top boys bothered to turn up for those who are not as lucky as Darcy to have the huge support. By well supported I meant by the fans not the riders. I don't even know where it was held this year. Kings Lynn? Shame on me but I wouldn't be inclined to go even if it was at Coventry or Leicester as I'm really not interested in individual meetings or seeing the so called 'top riders'.
  3. I would love to be around when SCB is old to see what his opinions are then compared to now, but unfortunately I won't.
  4. I think one is enough as any more wouldn't be so well supported. Don't forget there is also a collection at all the EL tracks every year - presumably PL and NL as well?
  5. I don't know why there is all this disagreement then because you seem to be agreeing with the majority that Tai should ride for Britain.
  6. Fair enough but I'm sure he's had some pretty good meetings there. My memory is awful but didn't he win the meeting for Wolves last season by passing the Lions rider/s on the 4th bend in heat 15? Another thing to consider is the journey to your home track. A nice easy quick wizz up the M69 from Coventry to Leicester or tackle the M6 or trip to Manchester on a Friday. I know which I'd prefer.
  7. That won't happen as it wouldn't be a Coventry team. If the Bees can't continue to ride at Brandon then 2016 will be the last season, which is sadly something the majority of us are expecting anyway. Who knows what will happen next year or if there will even be an Elite League, but surely for Leicester fans the prospect of riding on a Friday night with Chris Harris as your number one must sound rather attractive?
  8. That's easy to answer because neither really want to be riding in the UK anyway so back to Poland/Sweden/Denmark - delete as applicable.
  9. It's all been on here before ages ago so he knows we know who he is and he didn't complain back then. Perhaps he's pleased for a bit of publicity after his riding career ended. You seem to know a bit more than me if you know his date of birth so I'd be interested to know so I can work out his star sign. Now which one is argumentative, dogmatic, repetitive and bloody annoying? I'll have a guess at Taurus. Anyway back to the more important matter of what to have for tea.
  10. Trouble is if he does reach the 'hot' stage he will be off to Poole so that wouldn't be any benefit to Coventry.
  11. That's not the correct one then as Robert72 is not that old - in fact the 72 might give you a clue to his age, which is in his 40's, so 44 this year.
  12. I bet the atmosphere wasn't so great tonight.
  13. New rule apparently. A rider under the 2 minute warning has to be on the track riding in an anti-clockwise direction heading for the tapes ~ no cutting across the centre and no practicing starts on the back straight. (That's my own version ~ I don't know how the official one is worded.)
  14. ......And that's the edited version.
  15. Unfortunately the 'Poland problem' probably wouldn't go away as they seem to be using Friday's as well now.
  16. Might have been good for Aces fans. That was actually pretty impressive though coming off 15m.
  17. Take no notice of Robert72. He makes assumptions about dogs he's never met as well.
  18. Light jacket? After being to Swindon several times I'd suggest something a bit heavier with plenty of padding to keep the cold out. That seems to be your usual plan.
  19. First one was on August 7th and the second one on October 2nd ~ courtesy of my trusty 2015 calendar, otherwise I would have had no idea of the exact dates. The second meeting was a lot better than the first, although there were still some very scary moments. Definitely mad.
  20. I think that was the first meeting Robert. I felt like you did too and was really cheesed off with the delays but the second meeting was run more speedily and the racing was a lot better as well, presumably as the riders by then were more accustomed to the track. They're still all mad though.
  21. If that's the case it will probably have the opposite effect. Heaven help us.
  22. Is the answer 'Yes'? At least I've found out Starman has a sense of humour.
  23. What's happened to Paul? I wouldn't like to predict how many Lakeside will win by.
