  1. Well at least Stevebrum has got the message. Still not right though. I had an interest in the post but now the interest is gone because you're question has been answered.
  2. That's the last time I take any notice of what mdmc82 says then.
  3. Not to worry. I'm okay because the friend I sit with at Brandon, who is a big Bomber fan, never comes on this forum.
  4. Instead of acting like a mardy sod as usual then perhaps it should have made him more determined to prove Rosco's decision was wrong.
  5. Is your hatred of Coventry that bad you believe one person's post? Sad. He wasn't shockingly poor tonight even after an horrendous looking crash. I was surprised he managed to come out in the re-run. Trouble was one or two of the others were shockingly poor.
  6. We're both happy then because that makes two of us. Work that one out......or don't because I'm really not bovvered.
  7. I don't think the cut off date is that early? Play-offs aren't until October...not that we need to worry about those.
  8. I know it must be hard for you to understand but first and foremost I am a fan of Speedway, not just one individual team, so I can still enjoy the racing even if Coventry don't win. It's obviously more enjoyable if they do but not the end of the World if they don't. As things stand at the moment though I am getting less and less interested in the Elite League as it lurches from one disastrous season to another so sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a liar when I say I'm not bothered.
  9. You really don't get it do you? You ask him a question, he replies and you think he's on the wrong thread. To answer your question because I understand and don't ignore them or give a stupid answer ~ none, zero, zilch. Am I bothered? Not at all, but I don't think it does Speedway any good at all if Poole win for the 4th time in a row so I'll be hoping it's another team this season.
  10. Might be if we're live on Sky twice next month. Save a bit of embarrassment.
  11. You were at home in October 2010 Poole v Coventry match but still waiting for that rider by rider report so I think she's right Steve only does them when Pirates win.
  12. Oh damn! I thought the word grockles would confuse everyone ~ I've just been longing to use that word since I learnt it from Rabbit many years ago. No need to disagree because I agree beaches must be very nice to live near but personally I don't like sand and I can't swim so the sea is not much use either. Prefer the countryside myself. I think he also hangs out around Studland Bay? Saw him and a couple of equally interesting sights a few years ago.
  13. Just hoping the family I advised to take a look at Poole Speedway tonight, when they were looking for suggestions on Facebook of what to do in the area whilst on holiday this week, don't take any notice and go to the pub instead.
  14. Not only that but the place is full of grockles in the Summer months so there is no advantage living near a beach.
  15. Thanks for the summing up as I'd given up trying to understand this thread ages ago. Such a lot of aggro, which is usually confined to the close season on here when everyone is bored with no Speedway to follow, but of course we are in the middle of Summer and matches are going on at E.L. tracks every week all over the country........or perhaps not.
  16. 2004 wasn't too good either. Strangely enough though I really enjoyed that season even though both the Bees and Cougars finished bottom of their respective leagues.
  17. Agree, but don't bother wasting your time arguing with Starman. The two Kings Lynn fans we were due to meet at the track were going to be on the 4th bend but they very wisely decided to not pay to go in until they heard the sound of bikes revving up. Unfortunately we didn't wait as we had no idea the match wouldn't be going ahead. The track looked no worse than Coventry's did the night before.
  18. Let me guess......lead by Troy Batchelor and Rory Schlein. Aussie rules. Who was the referee?
  19. Sounds a bit precarious. No health and safety rules at Monmore then?
  20. Was it Alan Jones? I saw him replying to questions. Linda Jones ~ Web administrator. Obviously caught them out as well because the track was being watered at 4.30pm. I agree with you the main objection is the promotion keeping the turnstiles open and letting everyone in when they must have known beforehand the match wasn't going ahead with riders not even changed. He might have better luck a few miles up the road at Groby Pool.
  21. Very good. I was trying to think of something but in the end didn't want to tax my brain too much. I've got loads of photos of Little Egrets if Mr Watson needs any help with identification.
  22. Of course he wasn't there. He's just being stupid as usual so do like most others do and ignore what he says.
  23. Perhaps because no-one knows for sure yet. We're not Swindon out to fleece the fans by having a Farewell meeting at The Abbey and then carrying on.
