It seems a Voodoo Doll works as well. I can put the needles back in the sewing box again now. Well done Wolves. Yes, you're right. Coventry antagonised him by having the cheek to beat the Pirates home and away in 2010 when he clearly thought the title was in the bag having been top of the league for so long. That was a bad mistake on Coventry's part.

Robert Lightfoot - Former Rider

Ah......Robert72's daddy. -
It depends on the rider whether he is well liked and held in high esteem once he has moved on. For instance at Coventry ex Bees Scott Nicholls, Rory Schlein, Simon Stead, Joonas Kylmakorpi etc., always get a good reception from the fans but Hans Andersen strangely enough doesn't.

I'm always looking at strange men at both Coventry and Leicester so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Strange how Robert72 is keeping out of my way even though he has said he'd come and say 'Hello' next time. -
You'd be surprised what I get up to. Well, I can tell you a little bit of the information I gathered in gaining the knowledge about his legs. He's actually bald everywhere else so obviously all the hair on his legs is having a growth spurt. That's all I'm saying on the grounds it might be incriminating evidence.

I just don't get all this as I'm a bit thick. I thought Sandhu had sold the stadium for 2.something millions so how come he is still involved and able to put the prices up in the bars etc. Has he rented from the new owners until the end of the season when Mick takes over.....hopefully.

Me neither. No interest at all as I've never liked individual meetings. Why would Leicester make any mention about Jason Doyle anyway as he rides for Swindon.
-
Unfortunately it doesn't work like that because they already don't go but still moan.
-
And you still didn't come to say 'Hello'. I'm sure Lucy wouldn't have minded being woken up for a few seconds.

Agree as my friend bought a badge a couple of months ago which ended in ~ 2016. I was surprised that they even made the decision to run this season as attendances had already dropped considerably from 2014.
-
I suppose technically that was okay because at least two different helmet colours had been worn. In the Danny Ayres case he wore white the same as his team mate. Makes you wonder sometimes what the referees are looking at because even I noticed the two Colts had the same colour on and that was from quite far away and without my glasses whereas the referee is right above the starting gate.

I know the feeling Sue. At times this season I've been all on my own at Coventry with just the dog for company and she's always asleep anyway. Quite sad really how the attendances have dwindled so much.
-
The double header crowd was not very good, probably because it meant nothing to either Coventry or Kings Lynn in the league table, but on the whole the Bees matches have been well attended and the racing has mostly been good all season. National League attendances though have been very poor and I would imagine they have lost money on each meeting. I very much doubt if the Storm will continue next year but then the whole lot seems to be under threat at the moment anyway so who knows if there will even be a Bees team. Edited to add the quote.

Not the Storm then? That happened to Danny Ayres in heat 3 of the recent Coventry v Belle Vue Colts match. He'd won the race as well.

I bet that post was interesting. Not like you to think twice about something and then delete the comments. You've got me wondering now. -
Belle Vue V Lakeside 2nd Leg September 26

Yes, you have to get up close and personal with your fellow Speedway fans at Wolves. -
Martin and Linda Ochiltree.

I also thought the stadium had to be sold to pay back the tax owed by a relative of Sandhu's who was a part owner? Strange though because he'd always said he owned the stadium 100%.
