  1. Well, I've been a fan in the 60's and 70's and even before that. I'd still prefer to see a nice fit rider than some scruffy sod like Graham Plant.
  2. It should work okay as I'm always doing it and I'm thick as a plank on technology. On the first post you want to quote just click on the black 'Multiquote' which will save it. Repeat the same thing on any other posts until you've finished then click on the box at the bottom right where all your quotes have been saved. That should bring them all up. Just to add you must click on 'multiquote' and not just 'quote.'
  3. Nothing probably. Just another crackpot idea that no-one would give money for.
  4. And a few of mine as well, but unfortunately not of Colin Cook.
  5. He definitely doesn't help himself with the ideas he comes up with.
  6. Well I wouldn't be giving anything towards a stadium fund. Who knows where the money would end up. Anyway, what does it mean exactly? Putting right the present stadium or towards building a new one? I very much doubt if the latter will ever happen and I thought Sandhu was in charge of sorting out the former.
  7. Either that or my calendar is wrong and it's April 1st.
  8. You might well win your bet but the Sky contract needs 8 teams so Coventry would have made no difference as they make number 9 in the league.
  9. One of my favourites ~ loved his style of riding and he was rather handsome too, not that I noticed of course. I wonder if he's got any of that hair left these days? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150145891272785&set=a.10150144289657785.323814.550797784&type=3&theater I wouldn't be very keen on that either. Strangely enough one of the seasons I enjoyed the most at Coventry was 2004 when they came bottom of the league. You sort of get used to losing every week and just enjoy the racing. To put the icing on the cake The Cougars came bottom as well.
  10. Well that should be a clue as to what will happen with the Bees and when, if ever, they can get back to Brandon. COVENTRYSTOX PRESS RELEASE By Coventry Stox, Feb 7 2017 05:17PM CoventryStox would like to announce their decision to postpone the BriSCA Formula One April and May meetings. Unfortunately at this moment in time decisions and agreements still have to be made and we feel it is in the best interest for everyone to postpone the first two CoventryStox fixtures and focus on the British Championship in June. We would like to thank both BriSCA and the BSCDA for their ongoing support in these times of uncertainty and we look forward to reaching an agreement that suits drivers, fans and everyone involved in the world of Stock Car Racing. A further update will be given as soon as we have agreements in place and we would like to apologise for the delays in launching the 2017 season.
  11. Do you think we'll get back there then? Why? I don't suppose the promoters know yet or even if we ever will get back again. Try sending an email to Brandon Estates or Avtar Sandhu as I bet they know.
  12. Not relevant at all. I must remember in future not to make jokes when the info is from elsewhere.
  13. Oh yes. Thank you. Things are looking good as I like him ~ just need Kylmakorpi to sign now.
  14. Oh really? Who are the three signed already ~ Auty, Gomolski and....... I wouldn't mind but I do get emails of the latest news. Perhaps I shouldn't be on here late at night when my brain has stopped working. I think he supports Cradley rather than Birmingham, judging by his comments on Facebook.
  15. I'll have to watch that again tomorrow when I'm more alert so I can fully understand what he's saying. I've only ever used pain medication when I was in the hospital for 8 days and a a few days after coming home as I wanted to get off them as soon as possible. I do take a Vitamin D tablet, plus Vegetarian Omega 3, 6 and 9, whatever that is. Oh and a blood pressure tablet each morning so I can cope with Starman's posts.
  16. Blimey Rob ~ keep up. That was on page 79. We're now sorting out rider number 3 who may or may not be MJJ and my immediate thought was I hope not as that would mean KKS being on all the Leicester threads, but flagrag has already beaten me to it.
  17. I can hardly bloody walk at the moment.
  18. When are you going to start? By the way you never did reply to my question about bones, muscles and tendons. You seemed to know all about it and as it's affecting me at the moment and I've had no advice I thought I might learn something.
  19. I know where I'll be going ~ weather permitting. I reckon PK will do okay with a good number of Wolves, Cradley and Birmingham fans likely to attend, plus one Bees fan.
  20. How does anyone know when there is no way of checking who is behind the company due to it being based in Jersey. Very convenient that.
  21. I wonder if anyone has contacted David as judging by his comments on Facebook he's itching to ride again. Would be nice to finish his career at his home club. I'm not sure though if it is just grasstrack or longtrack he's interested in at the moment but I bet he wouldn't take much persuading.
  22. Jeremy Heaver is 'one of his people' and he has been quite public on Facebook but whether there has been a statement of intent or not I can't make my mind up.
  23. Good news for Leicester fans so hopefully Coventry will be the same. Having given it considerable thought we have decided to reduce this season’s admission prices to Adults £17 and Over 65’s £14 with children remaining unaltered at £5 for 10 to 17 years inclusive and Under 10’s free. This will also be reflected in the price of our 2017 Season Tickets which are now Adults £270, Over 65’s £225 and Children £80. This offer includes all 16 SGB Premiership fixtures, plus all Knockout Cup matches and one Challenge meeting.
