  1. You know you will regret that decision later. There are £29 seats in the middle tier on the 1st & 2nd bends - the cheapest ones. Better still if you are over 60 it's only £13.
  2. We're in the £29 seats and they are in the middle tier on the first bend so no need to pay £50. We have always gone in the middle tier, but everywhere I suppose has a good view, although I've heard some forum members say they aren't keen on the bottom tier because it feels "too closed in." See here. http://www.seetickets.com/speedwaygp/locat...iller2=multisgp ......and seating plan. http://www.speedwayworld.tv/cardiff2007/seatingplan.gif
  3. I doubt it Old Saint. The tickets have always gone on sale in August as that's when I have booked mine in previous years. I'm pretty sure it will be sometime within 9th - 23rd June.
  4. Sounds a bit like a well known forum member.
  5. Not long Zetters! Well done A.J. Even I was shouting for him in the final.
  6. Well, my hotel doesn't! We all provisionally booked for 2007 when we left this year but they are waiting for us to confirm the date.
  7. Depends where you want to sit. Certain areas sell out very quickly.
  8. Australia ..... [1st] Denmark......[2nd] Sweden........[3rd] Gt. Britain.....[4th] I won't be able to watch the final - unless someone can come up with a pub in the Exeter area that will be showing it?
  9. Poole is a lovely place. You will enjoy it. Try to get the "person who is taking you" to take you on a trip on The Solent Scene to see Old Harry Rocks. Beautiful scenery.
  10. Hopefully no-one from other tracks, which just leaves the 5/6,000 who attend Poole every week.
  11. Mmmmm.....unlike Charlie Gjedde. Yuk! Is there something about Danish riders and bad habits when on camera?
  12. Great to see you too. What a lovely surprise! Don't make it so long between visits next time or I might not be around.
  13. Unfortunately that was due to the poor opposition. It's not always like that honestly.
  14. Does he mention why he very rarely used to make an appearance at Leicester? He always seemed to be on the missing list when the Blackbird Road fixture came round.
  15. I think the Coventry promoter was approached but the meetings couldn't be fitted in around his dog racing. Shame because Brandon would obviously be the ideal place, having previously held Grand Prix's (or is that Grands Prix?) There is plenty of room, good track, excellent facilities and food, trendy music, disco in the bar afterwards...... What more could we wish for? Sadly it looks like big meetings will never be held at Coventry again. Edit....Looks like S.C. beat me to it. Serves me right for not using one sentence.
  16. Yes I am, along with the better half. It would be lovely to say hello and put a face to the name. You should be able to meet both the pooches as well. We stand on the 3rd/4th bend with a few friends....well sit really as we have some fold-up chairs, which the dogs are usually lying underneath. Look forward to meeting you.
  17. Yes, a great show Chris. Thanks for doing your bit for Leicester Speedway.
  18. Where's Liontamer when you need him? There aren't that many ex-Leicester fans on here really - Hazzman, Sir L, Lt, me, you.....Surely that's not it?
  19. I like the sound of the 9th too then I can make better arrangements for the dogs if the G.P. is not at the end of a holiday week and they are both already with us, as happened this year. I don't want to put Molly in kennels again.
  20. My question to Ken would be are the Leicester group really any nearer to getting the Lions back on track than they were over 20 years ago? Has any progress been made?
  21. Not had a reply yet unfortunately. I don't suppose they will answer, but we are bound to get some information on the forum before too long.......hopefully.
