Coward! I'm sure mange is treatable. A few of the Wolves fans get this regularly so I bet they could pass on the details of a quick cure. Ask Stevebrum - he is the expert.
I can't see the attendance getting any bigger than that as I think it has reached it's peak now. The days of Wembley type crowds are unfortunately over.
True, but I've always used the same bed/breakfast place who just provisionally book us in and then wait patiently for the correct date to be given.
No problems this year though because in the interests of me not bumping Summit off sometime during the 2 nights I've decided to cancel the booking and we are going on the coach from Coventry.
Not really true Sub. Have you been or do you just watch it on T.V? I actually think the racing has got better each year and I certainly don't just go for the atmosphere. In fact it can be annoying being surrounded by fans poking flags in your head and blasting air horns inches from your ears. Not to mention the drunks.....
No. I got ours a few days after they went on sale - £13 - on the first bend, middle tier. Very nice thank you.
There are some things to be grateful for when you get old.
Normally several coaches go to Cardiff from Coventry. I've read it somewhere but can't find it now - I think it was £17.
Full Throttle will no doubt post the correct details.
By the way you'll have a job finding a hotel in Cardiff now even if Donny wasn't there the same night. Speedway fans normally book them all up a lot earlier than this. You might have to try further out....or go camping at Penarth.
Off topic - sorry - but I've just looked at your photos and this is why I don't go to any social occasions and like to keep intact my illusion of speedway riders purely by their track appearances. ....
I can't see Rabbit camping out but I agree there must be cheaper alternatives before giving Cardiff a miss. Paying less for the tickets, finding cheaper accommodation a little way out of Cardiff for example.
Anyway Rabs what's the problem? You are both working and have no children spending any of your cash. You should be rolling in money.
Not that fast though. At Coventry he regularly gets beaten this season by the opposing number ones. On Friday he couldn't get anywhere near Crumpy but Rory Schlien was right on his tail for 4 laps.
I'm getting increasingly worried about deciding to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with a week's holiday "up North." Sounds like I'd better pack up the thermals, gloves, scarves & a hot water bottle.
Any chance of putting any on webshots Sandie so I can print a couple off for my friend as a momento? He is a Police Inspector and I'm sure they will go down very well on the police notice board of the dodgy places he visits whilst on leave.
Only that it starts at 7.30pm and is Swindon Robins v Australia. Captains Leigh Adams & Jason Crump. Plus vintage & sidecar races.
Not a very good advert is it?
And Hans Andersen threatens to quit British Speedway because of a bit of verbal abuse at Coventry!
Really enjoyed reading that report Rob as I am never likely to go myself.
Thanks.
