  1. Sorry Lt. We just walked by to see if we could spot anyone but didn't stay as I desperately needed to find somewhere to sit in the shade. Ended up like dossers on some steps for about an hour. I still live in hope you will turn up at Brandon one evening this season and just to encourage you ........ it's the same DJ there as Cardiff.
  2. I wondered when someone would comment about Greg as he seems to be getting the same compulsive repetitive disorder as Gollob. At least the comments have cleared up why he's doing it because here was me thinking he just liked the pat on the bum he always got from his mechanic.
  3. Me neither. In fact it was pretty boring where we sat - no flags, no drunks, no air horns. I've already booked the same seats for 2010.
  4. You're getting old Lt. I loved it all, especially the accordian music as it's played regularly at Coventry. You really must break the habit of a lifetime and come and see us at Brandon then you can have a little dance around the terraces to the music.
  5. I always find the noise at the British G.P sorts out any hearing problems for the next 12 months.
  6. I thought there was a lot of passing. For a change it was easier to count the "boring" races than the eventful ones, but I've not actually watched the recording yet to check exactly how many passes there were so I'm not going to argue with you. That's pretty good Steve, but more in the wrong than either of them was Ashley Holloway for giving Scott a hefty shove when he was returning to the pits so that he fell over. Has he been fined as well because he deserves to be....and banned from future G.P's.
  7. I think it must be me then. I thought the racing was really good this year, the track brilliant, as was the atmosphere. I even enjoyed the entertainment and DJ Bart's choice of music. Nothing wrong with the pa system where I sat either, plus it was nice and LOUD. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Roll on 2010.
  8. Oh I don't know. That upper cut to the chin was pretty nifty.
  9. How long does the game last? I mean you all do know the G.P. starts at 5pm this year. That's not the CJ is it of Eggheads fame? If so I might be popping along to see what hairstyle he is sporting this time.
  10. Thank you very much. This is really appreciated by so many fans over here.
  11. For gawd's sake don't set him off again Grachan.
  12. Danish Webmaster usually produces one as soon as the draw has been made so be patient and you may be in luck. Watch this space.
  13. I must remember to send Snyper a P.M. so he doesn't miss it because I know he is so proud of being British. Is this parade on Saturday? If so do they know there will be thousands of people in the town centre already? I don't give much for their chances of getting through.
  14. Strewth T.N.T. Do you usually manage on about 5 hours sleep? You will be nodding off half way through the Grand Prix.
  15. We always used to stay over Friday and Saturday nights as well, complete with the family pet Jemma who had a great time in Sophia Gardens on G.P. day, or playing on the grass near The Castle - until someone chucked her ball over the castle wall one year. (No, we've never forgotten that Scorpio!) Sunday was usually spent at Porthcawl and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend was had by all. Since getting the second dog though and trying to save a bit of money after retiring we've cut out the weekend stay and just travel on the Coventry coach. 8am start this year so we'll have to leave Leicester at the unearthly hour of 7.15am.
  16. What's wrong? Have you just found out Sandie and Co. will be staying there?
  17. Oy you!! I'll have you know I am getting quite good at recognising people now......most of the time.
  18. Word of advice. I'd give that one a miss this year being as your wife will be with you.
  19. Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not past it, I'm into the swing of things and I actually love the air horns. Perhaps I've just got a good bladder and don't need to be using the loo every half an hour so I don't need to be in the toilet zone either. By the way I wasn't moaning - just describing what is to me a good Cardiff experience.
  20. Any year that I don't get some drunken yob sitting near to me, someone waving a 6ft flag in my face every few seconds, kicking the back of my seat all night, up and down visiting the loo/getting yet another drink every 15 minutes so everyone has to stand up to let them get by......that's a good Cardiff experience.
  21. If I was Emil I think I'd look to see where Nicki was as well because he is so unpredictable. In all seriousness though surely no-one would think a rider would deliberately turn left into another at speed and risk injury?
  22. I always did think there was something a bit weird about him.
  23. Much appreciated. Thanks. Chris Harris looks to have a tough opening ride.
