  1. Hope he has a lovely day. Give it time....SCB is never wrong.
  2. Personally I'd rather wait and not have so many riders having to be elsewhere on their E.L. teams race night.
  3. I wouldn't advise doing that having seen him in action at Slater Street when something upset him. ...
  4. Get on the 'phone and I'm sure they will send you another copy as they are pretty good helping if anything is wrong. Can't answer your question though as I no longer have the Speedway Star.
  5. I'm not into statistics and who would fit and who wouldn't but two riders I've always liked are Danny King and Cameron Woodward so I'd be pleased if either of them signed for Coventry.
  6. Hope you are not including in your list of unwanted gregs the one and only Greg Hancock?
  7. I think Gustix is already on that one. I wish I'd taken a screenshot but not long ago I seem to remember him wanting to delete friends on Facebook, didn't know how he'd got them and had no need for them. I decided to save him the trouble of deleting me and did the honour myself.
  8. Well, if it is Coventry perhaps he's just been paid for the points he actually scored, which wouldn't have added up to much, rather than appearance money. I don't really know how it works but Kenneth has certainly been the biggest disappointment this year.
  9. Why do people say that riders haven't been paid, going back to 2013 now?! Can we have some proof first? It's easy enough to keep making allegations but name the riders.
  10. What is the issue then? Sorry I haven't seen any of the programmes but surprisingly for me I have heard of Sheffield United and Ched Evans.
  11. Yes, agree. Or who is your greatest 1-7 of all time. Afraid I just have to skip over questions like that, but each to their own others might be interested.
  12. 265 miles? I thought we'd found the U.K's number one 'Furthest to travel for a home meeting' fan. By the way you can edit your post and change it to 26.
  13. Thanks Terry. Are you allowed to say who has been doing it for the past few months since the Polish chap went? It doesn't seem to be Steve Austin although he is apparently named in the programme as being the track curator.
  14. I'd like to add my thanks to Sue and all the texters/updaters as well. Now I no longer have Sky I've followed matches on the updates site many times and really appreciate being able to do so. You all do a great job. Thank you.
  15. Blimey! I'm glad when I put an action photo up of Darcy Ward (?) I didn't disagree when someone said it was Chris Holder.
  16. I think I know one track who should get their name down for a two minute clock then they might not have so many problems with imaginary curfews.
  17. Thanks Dave. Never heard of him but he must be doing his best to help Sandhu shut the place down.
  18. Which previous track curator do you mean? I think the previous one to this one, whoever he is, was the Polish chap and we don't want him back again thanks. Incidentally FTM says his name is in the programme so if you have one can you say on here who it is because I don't buy a programme these days as I'm supposed to be getting rid of any unneccesary junk not adding to it.
  19. Many thanks for the reply FTM. I know you are as passionate about a good track as I am about Speedway....or was....I'm hoping the Winter break will get my enthusiasm back. I think someone has discovered a secret ingredient for difficult tracks now - cement. Perhaps Poole should have tried that in their hole. Hope you've had a good night's sleep.
  20. I like to think I'm not biased and won't defend Coventry when clearly something is wrong. A poor racing circuit is inexcusable considering all the years Speedway and Stock Cars have been at Brandon and standing around for ages watching tractors/staff trying to get the track in some sort of rideable condition after a match has started, as in the previous Storm meeting, or worse still before it's even started at the N.L. Fours is pathetic. So yes I'd had enough and didn't intend going to the play off final. I changed my mind when I heard it was going to be held at Leicester and they did everything right - well prepared track at short notice, brilliant atmosphere and the match all over by ten past nine. I know you are a well travelled speedway fan and promoters should be taking notice of what you and I say but they won't (with one or two exceptions) and then they wonder why fans stay away. Edited for a spelling mistake.
  21. You'll be lucky if you get an answer to that one being as no-one seems willing to even say who the track curator is these days and everything is shrouded in secrecy. Sod the paying fans who have to put up with this all the time.
  22. Isn't it strange how simple questions can conveniently just be ignored. FTM to his credit responded earlier to a couple of posts in detail about the track preparation but seems to have disappeared now. No wonder fans get paranoid, cheesed off and cynical.
  23. My god I must be getting old. On the photo I saw he looks about 12.
