Perhaps because they're a pain in the bum and deserve criticism?
-
Gee thanks.
-
Yes, you'd better. Someone has already done that joke on the Lewis Bridger thread.
-
He's got very grumpy lately. I can't understand what all the fuss is about - just because we don't know what is happening doesn't mean to say that nothing is going on 'behind the scenes.' I'm pretty sure there will be 7 riders in the team when the season starts, but if a desperate situation does occur Lewis Bridger is free now if David wants to buy him a couple of bikes.
-
And no car either, although probably someone else gets the job of ferrying him around everywhere. It's all sounding like really good preparation for the new season. Anyway, fans who are blaming Mick Horton for signing him - wasn't it Gary Havelock who started this off? It's all his damn fault.

Ah that would be Bomber's number one fan Edward. Yes, he still goes. Lovely dog. -

Been to Kings Lynn many times with Lucy and Molly and there are always other dogs there as well. Thank you Kings Lynn. Hope to make another couple of visits this season. -
I think Joonas might not be on Leicester's list because of his Long Track commitments? Yes, thank goodness.

Well, that news has cheered me up today. Thanks Lewis - go get yourself a 9-5 job. No doubt doing some cracking wheelies though. Prat. Can't stand him.
-
Why did he leave?
-
Are you on the right thread?
-
Yes, I was wondering about health and safety regulations when I posted but I always believe what TNT writes. Perhaps I can just do a bit of weeding on the 3rd/4th bend and try to make sure I don't fall down the crumbling steps. What irritates me the most though is dog poo, which is presumably left by the Greyhounds or the resident stadium dog. Someone ought to be responsible for making sure it's all picked up......and I'm not volunteering for that as I do enough clearing up after my own two.
-
I'm really surprised that you don't like Facebook as there are some great Speedway groups on there that I'm sure you would enjoy. All you have to do is become a member and then join the groups you're interested in.
-
I doubt if Sandhu is too bothered what condition the stadium is in unfortunately and it probably suits him fine how it is now, although I still think it's one of the better speedway stadiums around in spite of the lack of maintenance or shiny paintwork. I'm sure there would be quite a few people who would volunteer to help tidy the place up but would they be allowed to do it? That is the question.
-
I think the majority are probably agreeing with that but the issue is should the National Anthem be played before our run of the mill league matches start? Sorry I'm apparently a cretin but I say 'No'. Save it for bigger occasions.
-
Agree with you about World Cup meetings and G.P's. Is it still played in cinemas? I've not been for years but back then all I can remember is people pushing and shoving to get out before it was played at the end of the film. Also please keep off Andy William's version of 'May Each Day....' as we are leaving the stadium at the end of the night's racing. Love that.
-
Times have moved on since Charles Ochiltree and I for one don't really respect Royalty. You've also hit the nail on the head why it shouldn't be played - we're not at a serious sporting event. Oh.....and I'm not a cretin and it's not a major concern as I'd just stay sitting down like I usually do, but just have a different opinion to yours.
-
Blimey! You're showing your age now naffer.
-
If it's still a Sandhu employee then anyone who can mess it up as much as possible seems about right.
-
Got to agree with you about the National Anthem. Once I'm sat down that's it and I'm not getting up again or the dog wakes up and thinks it's time to go home. Didn't last long at Coventry though so I think he realized his mistake and took notice of the fans comments. If it went on for the whole season at The Showground then Peterborough supporters weren't doing enough moaning.
-
You don't have to look too far in Speedway for that to happen either. Of course the usual person down South was involved.
-
Probably because he's the only one stupid enough to try again after the first time.
-
True though. Most children at speedway meetings are a pain in the neck and can't sit still for five minutes let alone take any real interest in the racing. I wouldn't want to ruin my night by taking a ten year old along thanks. At least my dog just goes to sleep.
-
Why would Coventry need to borrow fence panels at the end of 2014? Just interested because I'm a bit dim.
-
I'd rather stick with the dog thanks as she's much less trouble. The last time I saw loads of 10 year old lads at the speedway was at Peterborough when there was some sort of Cubs invasion. Pain in the neck they were running around everywhere and not the slightest bit interested in watching the racing.
