Not bad at all for the first match of the season and like someone has already said it wasn't Coventry riders fault that they were gating a bit better than usual so Leicester couldn't catch up. They should have gone a bit faster and challenged. As Robert72 has liked your post I presume he was there but strangely enough he didn't bother to come round to meet Lucy. Disappointed. By the way what was wrong with Doyle in his last two races? He looked decidedly not bothered as he trundled round at the back.

Ah.....so that must have been what happened with Kenneth Hansen. He bought his own suit and then wanted the cost refunded from the Coventry promoters who took quite a while to react. Personally how he rode all season I wouldn't have been in any hurry to pay him back anything other than the points he scored. The majority of Coventry fans are pretty good at waiting for a rider to improve and not getting on his back too quickly, as long as it can be seen that he is trying and not taking the mickey doing wheelies at the back like Lewis Bridger did. I can't remember too much criticism aimed at Brian Yarrow and I'm sure he stayed the whole season even though he very rarely finished anywhere other than 4th place.

Looks like the target has been dropped to £600 now anyway instead of £1,000. I'll donate the same amount I gave to the Chris Harris G.P. fund last season - zilch. If people want to then fair enough but any spare money I have always goes to abused, half dead dogs where I can follow their photos and videos and feel happy I have helped a bit with their progress back to good health. Confusing because it looked like Hansen bought his and was then waiting to be reimbursed, judging by how much complaining he was doing about payment during the Winter. So the club in his case? I'm pretty sure Max Clegg only found out he was riding via comments on Facebook as I happened to be reading them at the time when he came on.

Perhaps when he's finished reading his own insensitive post again he can also read through his second one because he hit the nail on the head saying "an important press & practise day" because that's exactly what it is - riders meeting up as a team for the first time, receiving their suits, having photos taken, getting out on the track, meeting the fans. As has already been said Hans was already over here but then flew back to be with his family. He's hardly going to want to ride on 'Mother's Day' is he? Yes, always gun fights in Leicester every day. Only yesterday I had to run for cover as a neighbour ran after another one down the street firing a gun at him. The dogs were terrified. I tried to get them to chase after him and do a rugby tackle but they were having none of it. Wimps.

I really don't think hiding user names will make any difference at all to the voting. If someone doesn't want to admit they're a 'lady over 60' it's because they just can't be bothered to vote in a poll not because their user name will be shown. 60 is nothing these days and I'll happily admit to being nearly 75.
