I love translations. "For Funen Hans Andersen was evening twice annoyed when he came out in a wild crash involving a wide skidding along the dross. " Sometimes they're worse to understand than the original language.

Yes I remember that one.

I think he's referring to boxing and Bridger's new career? At least he's only got to put his gloves and shorts on and he's ready. Oh I don't know ~ I think Mr Sandhu is looking for somewhere to build a stadium. He might even get a compass out and plan the track better so the sun doesn't affect the riders to avoid any delays, base it on the old Blackbird Road track, or better still Peterborough, and have a car park next to the stadium that holds more than the ridiculously small amount of 235 cars. Also Mr Sandhu likes dogs so they would be welcome as long as they were on a lead and well behaved. Blimey! This all sounds so good I'd even start going there myself.

Can you read Danish? Some great words though, including fingerknogle, tidspunkt and slaggerne.

Perhaps I'm getting less patient in my old age but I wouldn't go to Kings Lynn again after my visit a few weeks ago as I can't be doing with all these delays. I don't know how the Stars fans put up with it.

Poole V Kings Lynn - Wednesday 3rd June.

Shame because it would be nice to encourage a bigger crowd. With the terracing being so big the place always looks half empty anyway. They'll be a gap on the 4th bend too as unfortunately I'm away. -
Good question. Personally I wouldn't mind if there wasn't as I'd be quite happy with a 'lower standard' without the so called top stars, many of whom take the mickey by missing matches when they can't be bothered to come over here. Premier League racing would suit me fine thank you.

Swindon Robins V Coventry Bees 26th May 2015

Don't know how they managed that as we only got as far as the car park. Paid the fee and the two stewards on the gate made a fuss of the dogs but at the next checkpoint charlie we were told we couldn't stay and that there was a lay by up the road we could use. I knew the dogs would just go to sleep as they'd been running around all day but no way would I leave them out of sight. As it happened when the steward had finished escorting us out we took a wrong turn and ended up behind the stadium still in the car park so instead of going back to the Travel Lodge we did get to see the match. Anyone that knows me and Lucy will know that she goes to sleep on her blanket. In fact on Monday the Thompson twins dad walked by and said 'How can she go to sleep with that noise?' Well, that's probably the reason why Thomas (Peterborough) and Edward (Coventry) are quite famous but Lucy isn't because she's so boring and doesn't watch the racing. -

Before they start I presume someone will get a compass out and make sure the track is the right way round to avoid the low sun? Don't need any more with problems like Leicester and Kings Lynn, not that it will bother me as I can't go to Swindon now. Good luck with the new stadium though. I suppose the jobsworth stewards will be transferring over there and the 'no dogs' policy will still be in force? -
Back to the Premier League next season?

That's the reason I drive over 40 miles to Peterborough. Absolutely brilliant race, along with many others equally as good so it's always worth the journey. You get no sun breaks at the Showground either, even in the middle of the afternoon 'cos it's always bloody freezing there. -

Still doesn't excuse not joining his team mates on the victory parade though. He didn't have to ride his bike then ~ he was getting a lift. -

Yes it's a shame about Lambert because at Peterborough in the afternoon he rode brilliantly to score 15 + 1 points. I know it's Premier League but he just looked so confident on that track. Leicester obviously doesn't suit him. -

Is it ever? As soon as you get out of the car there's usually a gale force wind. -

I'll recognise you this time Star Lady. Now what are my chances of seeing two speedway meetings in one day? Hope the referee gets his/her finger on the two minutes button to keep things moving along because I'm hoping to be at Peterborough, go home afterwards and then drive to Coventry for their match against Kings Lynn. -

It will be interesting to see which mug of a club decides to use Darcy, if any, knowing he will just be dropping his average ready for a return to Poole next season. -
I'm sure speedibee will answer this himself in his own style, but the Storm team this season is obviously weaker because the points limit dropped.

I agree it is wrong. Cheats should not be in inverted commas. -
Doesn't usually bother them as they've chosen some awful mis-matches in the past when any fan could predict the score and know beforehand a disaster was looming, Perhaps they're learning at last. I'm just cheesed off there is a match that Monday whether it's against Leicester or Poole because I'll have to miss it.

Looks like it. Either way I'm cheesed off because I'll be away on that Monday, whereas before I wasn't going to miss any matches.
